In what was to be the harbinger of the #MeToo movement of Bollywood, Tanushree Dutta had left all of us shocked when she opened up about how she had been sexually harassed on the sets of a movie. The jaw-dropping moment was, unlike others, she named names and called out Nana Patekar for having intimidated her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleasssss. While director Rakesh Sarang and choreographer Ganesh Acharya came out in support of Nana immediately after the interview started going viral, Tanushree stood her ground.
While we thought just like back in 2008, Bollywood would pay no heed to it, some of the many Bollywood stars came out in support for Tanushree. After all this, yesterday, Nana Patekar finally responded to the allegations dismissing them all at once and telling the media that he was thinking of taking legal action. And now, looks like things are getting pretty heated. Tanushree has once again come out to make an official statement about Nana’s reaction and how she is being intimidated by his helper after she spoke out about the incident. Looks like Tanushree is not going to back down this time.
Given the recent developments I am putting together a team of lawyers and advocates to defend my interests. Also contrary to claims made by nana’s lawyer I have not received any legal notice. So bluffmaster gogo needs to step up his game a bit here.Instead of making empty threats to intimidate me into silence, send me a legal notice and then you will see what I will do with it!
Another very important issue that this current scenario raises is how when a victim speaks up there are morally bankrupt and corrupt lawyers and advocates who come forward to defend serial harrassers and offenders for their two seconds of fame.
Despite witnesses coming forward and all evidence in my support im being subjected to criminal intimidation and harassment by nanas helper.Im sure this guy has many skeletons in his closet too as birds of a feather always flock together. This is the story of countless millions in our country who are still waiting justice because they got dragged into a web of legal mumbo jumbo and were silenced into submission. They make a mockery of not only our judiciary but also our esteemed constitution by trying to disrupt a persons freedom of speech by such threats.
This lawyer along with his client should both be questioned and taken to task. I have a humble request to the bar association of India to call out and take action against him and other such people who help perpetators further harass their victims and witnesses in the name of law.
It takes great effort to come out in the open and say that you have been harassed, more so to name names, especially famous names. Having known that she would be subjected to this kind of treatment, it is truly brave of Tanushree to have opened up about her ordeal so many years later. Let’s also not forget that she had done the same 10 years ago, but no one paid heed to her. I hope we as a society have progressed a little more in the last 10 years and we stand to support the one who has faced the harassment.
Tanushree, I hear you and I’m with you.

The best thing about the basic pairing of a white to blue jeans is that it can be dressed up or dressed down according to the occasion. Whether its the I-am-just-going-out-to-get-some-grocery look or a night out with your friends, a white top teamed with blue jeans always works out. Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s this week’s look is a really good example of the same.
She was papped in one off-shoulder white top, tucked in ripped blue jeans. It wasn’t a simple white top as it featured a cold shoulder style on one sleeve and an off-shoulder on another. The other detail that we really liked about the look was the fact that the hems of the pants were upturned, which played around with the casualness of the silhouette. This basic outfit was styled with white pointed toe heels to add some glamour quotient. Add to that her soft wavy mane and soft smokey eyes, the entire look was perfect for any occasion.
A simple outfit and yet it makes a statement. Imagine if it is styled with a sling bag and tinted sunglasses and there you have it, an outfit that’s perfect for a Sunday brunch. Will you try out such a look? Tell us what you think about Kareena’s this outfit in the comments below.

For anyone who’s ever travelled anywhere, there is always a constant dread of your baggage getting left behind or worse, getting lost. If you’ve never had that happen to you, you’re one of the lucky few! While the entire thing is quite an ordeal, there are a few things you can do, that could help you in case of a lost baggage situation.
No, we aren’t referring to keeping extra coins in your bag. We’re actually talking about keeping a spare change of clothes in your bag. Ideally, you should always keep a spare tee shirt (maybe 2), a spare underwear and a pair of pants in your hand luggage. A backpack is actually ideal for anyone travelling a lot. Oh, you might want to throw in a toothbrush too!
While this applies to many international carriers, it’s always good to check if your airlines have this facility. Basically, if certain airlines lose your baggage, they pay you a certain amount a day, which allows you to shop and buy yourself the required necessities. Do make sure you keep the bills, or you’re not going to be able to claim your purchases!
Alright, so most airlines will tell you that the reason why your bags were held back was that there was an “offending” item in it. If you’re an OCD packer, you’ve obviously not picked anything in it. However, the airline can’t straight up admit they were wrong. So, they’re going to ask you to send over a letter of authority which basically states that they can check your bag. While this process is usually a safe one, it’s good to keep track of what you’ve packed in case something goes missing. Always keep a copy of one on your phone.
Just because you’ve lost your luggage, doesn’t mean you need to replace every single thing in it. Think of it as a really painful, stressful and emotional spring cleaning. You’re probably not going to be in the frame of mind to think about every little thing so it’s always good to start by buying the basics. These usually include essential clothing, shoes and toiletries. Keep these 3 things in mind and you’ll have somewhere to start from amidst all the chaos.
Don’t expect the airline to be running behind you and following up with you. Sometimes, even a 100 calls are less. It doesn’t matter if you think you’re being annoying. It’s our stuff. So make those calls and keep following up as much as possible. That being said, there is absolutely no need to be rude, dismissive or abusive towards the staff. Losing a bag is a big deal for an airline and sometimes you’ve just got to give it some time to sort out.
Have you ever had an airline lose your luggage? If yes, what were some of the things you did? Let us know in the comments below!

Who doesn’t like street food? Chaats, samosas, vada pavs and parathas are the ideal go-to hunger sitch every evening, isn’t it? However, street food can only be enjoyed if served fresh, don’t you agree? This is exactly why we suggest you try to make these at home. Not only will it be consumed fresh, but are also a healthier option. Plus, you can customise these dishes as per your convenience and preference. Today, Vidhi Doshi a.k.a. @RamenHairedGirl gives us an easy recipe to cook-up a Mumbai-style masala pav sandwich at home. Here it is.
2 Tsp butter
1 Medium onion finely chopped
1 Small clove of garlic, grated
1/2 Finely chopped capsicum
2 Finely chopped tomatoes
1 Tsp garam masala
1/2 Tsp pav bhaji masala
1/2 Tsp Chilli powder
Salt to taste
A pinch of sugar (if needed)
1 Tsp butter
2 Pavs
4 Tomato slices
4 Onion slices
4 Boiled potato slices
Coriander for garnish
Heat the butter in a flat non-stick pan, add the garlic and onions and saute for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame till translucent. Add the capsicum and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, garam masala, pav bhaji masala, red Chilli powder and cool well. Mash it lightly and cook for 6-7 minutes till the tomatoes are cooked. If the tomatoes are too sour, you can add a pinch of sugar here.
While the stove is on, scrape the masala on one side and heat the remaining butter and heat 2 pavs in it. Stuff the pavs with masalas.
Place the tomato, onion and potato slices in the pav and let it heat for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Serve hot and garnished with coriander.
Now, wasn’t that super easy? Who said you need to head out for a yummy Mumbai-style masala pav? Make it at home in minutes and tell us how it turned out in the comments below!

Don’t we all work very hard for our salaries? The boss’ firing, the local train fights, the heat, waking up early in the morning and so much more! All for that one message we receive from our bank on the 1st of every month. We feel rich exactly for two hours, right? Then all those EMIs start getting deducted and you’re left with a 4-digit figure in minutes. And then, till the end of the month, you’re basically broke. If you feel the way we feel, here are a few signs you may have reached the end of the month and all you get when you open your wallet is the sound of crickets and a bunch of dust bunnies.
You realise it’s the end of the month when the toilet paper, tissues and the milk are scarce in the office or at home!
All your money is over in your bank account and what you’ve got left is that one ₹2,000 note that no one wants to break.
It’s that time when you bat your eyelashes and ask for money from mom or dad.
“3 days to go” or “2 days to go” is all your mind is calculating at this point.
You live on Maggi or dal chaawal at home because you can’t afford to be picky. There’s no way you can afford a lavish meal outside at the end of the month. You barely have money to travel to work!
No way can you go to a bar with all those insane cocktail prices and taxes. You make plans to drink at home with whatever little alcohol you have left.
Whenever you browse through apps to shop, you’ll always filter the prices and look only under the Sale category.
Now, of course, the EMIs and credit card bills are paid only next month, but those text messages preparing you to say goodbye to that amount is just heart-breaking!
All the chillar from all the pockets of every pair of denims will count at the end of the month. The rickshawala will rue the day he asked you for chutta.
Well, honestly, 50 bucks for a nariyal pani is expensive anyway. But at the end of the month, it sounds like the price of gold. Hai na?
We bet these points will be pretty relatable as it is literally the end of the month! How are you surviving this phase, write us your tips and suggestions in the comments below!
