Total congrats to Nikki Bella!
The former WWE Divas champ and current star of E!‘s Total Bellas has found love again, and she’s ready to make it legal.
Nikki and boyfriend Artem Chigvintsev announced Friday on Instagram they had decided to take the next step — and had gotten engaged!

In fact, professional dancer Artem popped the question all the way back in November, but the two were keeping the news under wraps for a couple months. As Nikki explained in her post:
“Excited for 2020 and the next decade with you @theartemc ❤️ I said yes in France in November! We have been trying to keep it a secret but really wanted to share our excitement for the New Year!”

Artem shared the same pics, writing:
“You are the best thing that has ever happened to me . So excited for what’s to come I love you more then anything and thank you for saying Yes”
The two have been dating about a year — in fact, the news broke they were together exactly one year ago today, on January 3, 2019. Maybe that explains their desire to drop the engagement news on this specific date?
That was news came nearly eight months after Nikki’s split from John Cena.
Nikki and John were THE pro wrestling power couple for a long time, having been together for eight whole years. They also went so far as getting engaged; in fact, their April 2018 breakup was just weeks before they were set to wed.
It was after that breakup Nikki began hanging out more with Artem, with whom she had become friends during her appearance on Dancing With The Stars in 2017.
Artem told Nikki on The Bellas Podcast in September, just two months before proposing, that he definitely wanted kids with her:
“I’ve never thought about the exact number, but the only thing I can compare it to is obviously my parents and what they have. They have two of us. It’s me and my brother. If I have to throw a number, I would probably say two because that’s how I grew up and I had a good relationship with my brother.”
Fans will note this was often a sore point between Nikki and John, as for years he said he didn’t want to have children.
BTW, John has also moved on. He’s dating a Canadian electrical engineer named Shay Shariatzadeh.
The wrestling star said he was “extremely happy” with how things were going in a November interview on the Today show.
Sounds like both exes are doing great! So nice to hear for once.
