Authorities arrested a South Florida man on Friday after connecting him with at least 12 homemade explosive devices sent to the enemies of Donald Trump.
It’s at times like these people regret not having any warning about such an event. But in this case, there was actually a lot.
Besides many prominent critics expressing wariness for months that Trump’s divisive, vilifying rhetoric would inspire such an act, there was warning about the suspect himself.
First the so-called “MAGA bomber” suspect was caught in part because of his lengthy criminal record; a fingerprint was found on one of the devices, and he was in the system many times.

Political pundit Rochelle Richie pointed out she even got a threat directly from the suspect’s apparent account on her Twitter — two weeks ago!
She of course reported the threat to Twitter, which as you may have guessed, did NOTHING AT ALL:
Hey @Twitter remember when I reported the guy who was making threats towards me after my appearance on @FoxNews and you guys sent back a bs response about how you didn’t find it that serious. Well guess what it’s the guy who has been sending #bombs to high profile politicians!!!! pic.twitter.com/xBY8FMbqnq

Wow.
What is it with Twitter not protecting women?
A few others even remembered seeing and being creeped out by Sayoc’s rather distinctive Trumped-out van, including Lesley Abravanel who shared:
OMG. My husband just called and said "Remember that picture I texted you of that crazy Trump van that delivered lunch to my office? THAT WAS THE GUY!" This is the picture he sent me of the van parked at his office on November 1, 2017. #FloridaMan @FBI pic.twitter.com/18BimNzNhi

After seeing conservative pundits calling everything from her timestamp to the stickers fake, she then proved it by retweeting her tweet from the time:
#HappyNovember from a man who probably thinks the earth is flat. pic.twitter.com/ARrQxd9UpO

Oof.
When women say they’re creeped out, y’all need to start acting, @Jack!
