Meghan Markle’s Powerful Speech About Feminism — WATCH!!

Meghan Markle was front and center at a New Zealand reception in honor of the country’s 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage.

The pregnant Duchess of Sussex praised the country in her speech for being the first to give women the right to vote, and also spoke about feminism.

“In looking forward to this very special occasion, I reflected the importance of this achievement, but also the larger impact of what this symbolizes…Because yes, women’s suffrage is about feminism, but feminism is about fairness.”

She flawlessly delivered her speech (take notes, people) to the crowd on Sunday, her second time speaking about women’s rights during her royal tour with Prince Harry in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga:

“Suffrage is not simply about the right to vote but what that represents. The basic and fundamental human right of being able to participate in the choices for your future and that of your community. “
