Rich Kids of Beverly Hills Star Roxy Sowlaty Is Engaged to Nicolas Bijan — See Her Enormous Ring!

Rich Kids of Beverly Hills Star Roxy Sowlaty is officially off the market!

On Tuesday, the 30-year-old’s now-fiancé Nicolas Bijan surprised Sowlaty, who was on a girl’s trip in Paris, by secretly flying out to the City of Love and popping the question to her with a jaw-dropping ring on the famous Love Lock bridge.

After the proposal, Bijan, who runs House of Bijan — a men’s clothing store in Beverly Hills, shared a video of himself surprising Sowlaty on Instagram.

“I’m coming to surprise you,” Bijan said. “You have no idea. Love you.”

Moments before meeting Sowlaty on the bridge, Bijan gave his followers an up-close look at the massive rock which E! News reports is an incredible 8-carats. He then hops out of a car to find Sowalty, who says “What are you doing here?”

Without saying a word, Bijan drops down on one knee and Sowalty immediately nods before the two kiss and hug.

Sowalty later posted a video on her Instagram Stories detailing the proposal. “I just got engaged in Paris I thought I was going to get mugged and instead this gorgeous man surprised me on a bridge in my stupid red beret,” Sowalty says flashing her ring.

For the big day, Sowalty wore an animal print jacket paired with black pants and of course a red beret.

The interior designer then shared a series of black and white photos from the proposal on her feed writing, “@nicolasbijan I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry End Tour Same Way They Started — Holding Hands: ‘It’s Been Great’

That’s a wrap on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s epic royal tour Down Under!

On Wednesday, local time, the royal couple completed the final (76th!) engagement of their 16-day tour. And they ended it the same way they started it — hand-in-hand.

The newlyweds, who made the exciting announcement that they are expecting their first child at the start of their tour, touched down in Sydney on Oct. 14 holding hands. And they hardly have let go of each other since!

The couple also couldn’t hide their baby joy throughout the tour. Harry offered a personal message when they arrived in New Zealand via helicopter, saying, “From myself, my wife and our little bump, we are so grateful to be here. We bring blessings from my grandmother the Queen and our family. We are so grateful for your hospitality and the work to look after this beautiful place.”

He referenced their new addition in his speech at the opening ceremony for the Invictus Games as well. “I have been so proud to be able to introduce my wife to you and we have been so happy to be able to celebrate the personal joy of our newest addition with you all,” he said.

Meghan cradled her bump throughout the tour and excitedly accepted baby gifts from well-wishers.

Their PDA-filled tour saw them showing their affection as they made their way through Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand. And for their final tour stop, Harry and Meghan walked across a suspension bridge between 117-year-old ancient Redwood trees.

They left the forest holding hands as they made their way to their car. Harry turned to a group of reporters and summed up their successful tour in just a few choice words: “It’s been great — thanks guys.”

Tomorrow, the couple will take off from New Zealand and head back to their home at Kensington Palace in London.

Pregnant Meghan Markle Embarks on Suspension Bridge Walk Between 117-Year-Old Redwood Trees

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are capping off their royal tour by getting in touch with nature.

The newlyweds, who are expecting their first child this spring, headed to the Redwoods Treewalk Rotorua on Wednesday (local time) for a journey along the walkway of suspension bridges between 117-year-old Redwood trees. As they explored the forest, they learned more about its history.

Meghan kept on her blue Givenchy sweater from earlier in the day and changed out of her pleated skirt and into her go-to Mother Denim black skinny jeans and comfy black flats for the excursion. She also wore a lightweight down jacket by Norrono.

The forest is also the home to a thriving mountain biking community that draws people of all ages to the Redwoods. Meghan and Harry met invited representatives of the local biking community under the forest canopy.

Meghan did join Harry at Tonga’s Tupou College as they dedicated two forest reserves at the school’s on-site forest, however, she did opt out on a walk through the area.

Boy with Cancer, 4, Receives Hundreds of Halloween 'Cheer Cards' from People Around the Country

Carter McPherson has even more reasons to love Halloween!

The four-year-old boy from Florida — who adores the annual holiday — recently received over 300 Halloween cards and gifts in the mail from people around the country, wishing him well as he undergoes his cancer treatments.

Mom Tiffany McPherson had asked just a few neighbors to help cheer up her son, who was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February 2017, with festive cards.

Tiffany first posted the request to Nextdoor — a social networking site for your neighborhood — at the end of the September.

Since then, Carter has received tons of “cheer cards,” as Tiffany calls them, from people around the United States.

His mom also says in addition to numerous cards, Carter is receiving approximately 10 Amazon boxes of gifts that are delivered to their house each day.

Some of those gifts, she told PEOPLE, include gift cards, Halloween stuffed animals, stickers, books, coloring books, and a Spider-Man desk.

“I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness,” she explained to PEOPLE of the unexpected response from her community and beyond. “I could not believe it! Not only is Carter smiling but so am I.”

“He has received the most awesome gifts that will last a lifetime,” she added.

For Carter, who is currently learning to read, seeing his name on the daily packages is helping to bring a smile to the four-year-old’s face.

“He is so excited to check the mail every day,” she told PEOPLE. “When the doorbell rings, he runs to the door and gets so excited!”

Carter is just a little over halfway done with his three-year chemotherapy treatment and already becoming a pro, his mom says.

“His last visit he finally didn’t cry when his port was accessed which was huge for him,” she explained to PEOPLE. “It breaks my heart. I try so hard to encourage him to be a big boy and be brave and he has definitely done that and more.”

Although he hasn’t been to the clinic since receiving the gifts, Tiffany says they are likely to bring along his new Legos and books for their next visit, which will help make time pass.

“I am beyond blessed and grateful for all the strangers that have taken the time to send my son all these gifts, cards and well wishes, but most of all prayers for me and my son,” she said to PEOPLE. “Some of the cards have truly heartfelt blessings and love from pure strangers.”

“I never would have thought in a million years me asking for cards would go this viral and become this awesome for my son,” Tiffany added.

Carter is currently in remission and doing “great with treatments,” his mother says. He is expected to be able to stop chemotherapy by 2020.

Ashley Iaconetti Says She and Jared Haibon Are Writing Their Vows: 'I Definitely Will Be Crying'

Ashley Iaconetti knows her wedding to Jared Haibon will be an emotional day.

On Tuesday, The Bachelor star stopped by PEOPLE TV’s Chatter and opened up about her upcoming nuptials.

“I definitely will be crying through my vows whether I write them or not, but I think the plan right now is that we’re going to write them,” Iaconetti explained when asked if she’ll be able to hold back tears before saying “I do.”

“I have to read from the paper,” Iaconetti continued. “Who can memorize their own vows and then be up and there and be emotional?”

“I can’t imagine myself being dry-eyed while reading my own vows,” Iaconetti said.

Iaconetti, who got engaged to Haibon in June after he proposed to her while in Mexico during Bachelor in Paradise, also revealed their wedding will not be televised.

“Bachelor never formally asked us if we wanted to get married on the show, but Paradise was probably our only option if we decided to get married on screen,” Iaconetti said.

“We decided not to do that just because we wanted to have a bigger wedding. When the show is in charge of it they have a lot of guest requests and you have to also narrow your list down,” Iaconetti explained.

Iaconetti also confirmed Bachelor alum Tanner Tolbert will officiate the ceremony.

As for Iaconetti’s bridal party, that will remain a private. “We have not even told our bridal parties who they are, so we’re going to keep that secret for right now.”

While their wedding is still in the planning stages, Iaconetti and Haibon have already started thinking about starting a family.

“I just know that I want to start trying to have kids at 32,” Iaconetti said in July. Adds Haibon: “We’re engaged now, so we’ll get to the wedding and then maybe pop out a couple kids!”

Ricki Lake on Trying to Find Love After Her Late Ex-Husband: 'Lightning Doesn't Strike Twice'

Ricki Lake knows the love she had with her late ex-husband Christian Evans was very rare.

While appearing on an episode of PeopleTV’s Chatter on Tuesday, the actress explained that the one thing she’d like to experience for the first time was something she has already felt — and doesn’t think is likely to happen again.

“I found true love with my husband who passed so I’m hoping to find love again,” Lake, 50, said on Chatter. “I don’t think I will. I’m open to it, but I think what I had — I was so lucky to have found that, it’s what everybody wants in life.”

Evans died by suicide at the age of 45 following a long battle with bipolar disorder. Though Lake filed for divorce in 2014 after two years of marriage, the pair continued their relationship until September 2016 amid his struggle with the mental illness.

“I had true, unconditional love so I’d like to have something along those lines again,” she continued. “But I feel like lightning doesn’t strike twice.”

Added the Cry-Baby actress: “I had the real deal; I just didn’t have it as long as I wanted it.”

The couple began dating in September 2010. At the time, Lake said she had given up on the idea of happily ever after. Having split from Rob Sussman, the father of her two sons Milo, 21, and Owen, 17, in 2003, Lake said, “I never thought I would marry again after that.”

But Evans, who the actress said was upfront about his condition and admitted he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder earlier in his life, “was quiet and wise. There was not a phony bone in his body.”

“He had a lot of self-esteem issues and a lot of demons,” Lake added. “But I understood him, and he was someone that I think a lot of people misunderstood.”

Evans and Lake were engaged in August 2011 and were married by the following April.

Evans’ mental health issues led to him moving out and the pair deciding to get a divorce. Despite their separation, Lake was still supportive of her ex-husband.

“It wasn’t my comfort level to be together in secret,” Lake told PEOPLE in March 2017. “He wasn’t stable, and he was so fragile, but I was still in love with him, so there was something romantic about it. I wanted to save him.”

She also admitted to hoping they would eventually repair their marriage.

“I knew there wasn’t a high probability for that happening, but I hoped so,” she told PEOPLE. “I was still in love with him. He made me so happy. I was never happier than when I was with him.”

In the years after his death, Lake has worked to keep Evans’ legacy alive by co-producing Weed the People — a documentary that advocates for the legalization of medical marijuana — and sharing his story about mental illness.

“I have to spread the word about recognizing this disorder and getting treatment as soon as possible,” Lake told PEOPLE. “Christian didn’t want to be labeled as bipolar, but he admitted he was in the note he left.”

“That was him finally owning it,” she added. “That was him giving me permission to tell his story.”

Meghan, who wore a blue sweater and matching multi-colored pleated skirt from Givenchy, also took time to greet one of her littlest fans in the crowd, an adorable young girl who held out her hands to the duchess.

“Walkabouts,” as the royal meet and greets are commonly referred to, have provided some of Meghan and Harry’s most candid moments of the royal tour. Shortly after arriving to New Zealand, Meghan comforted a sobbing teenage fan by holding her hands.

One young royal fan who was wearing a shirt that read “Girls Can Do Anything” caught Harry’s eye in Sydney — so much that he just had to call his wife over to meet her.

“We feel she looks a bit like you,” a person in the crowd is heard telling Meghan in a video posted by Harry Meghan Updates on Instagram.

The Duchess of Sussex replied, “I was literally about to say the same thing!”

Harry then took a fan’s phone to snap a photo of Meghan with her mini-me —  a rare move for the prince, who usually adheres to the royal protocol of no autographs or selfies.
