"Saturday Night Live" Parodies Kanye West's Unannounced Skechers Visit
When it comes to "Saturday Night Live," nothing and no one is ever truly off limits, and that includes Kanye West. During the show's Oct. 29 episode, hosted by Jack Harlow, "SNL" poked fun at the 45-year-old mogul's recent "unannounced" visit to the Skechers corporate offices in Los Angeles, which resulted in him getting escorted away from the premises.
In the spoof, titled "Skechers Commercial," executives from the shoe company issue a response following West's unwanted visit. "Here at Skechers, we pride ourselves on two things, making stylish, comfortable shoes at an affordable price and having zero tolerance for antisemitism," a Skechers rep played by Cecily Strong says in the clip.
Addressing West's several dangerous antisemitic remarks, Strong continues, "Like the rest of the country, we were appalled by Kanye's horrific comments, and we vow to never work with him in any capacity. But can we also point out, of all the companies he could've approached and been rejected by, he chose Skechers."
The skit then takes aim at Adidas for its delayed reaction in cutting ties with West before the Skechers execs once again shut down the idea of a partnership with the rapper. Skechers did actually decline a possible collaboration with West, releasing a statement that read: "Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech."

Henry Cavill Reveals Season 3 of "The Witcher" Will Be His Last: "I Pass the Torch with Reverence"
The White Wolf is going to look a little bit different when "The Witcher" returns for season four. On Saturday, Oct. 29, Henry Cavill shocked fans when he announced that he's hanging up Geralt of Rivia's sizable sword after the third season, which is set to premiere on Netflix in 2023. The actor revealed the news via an Instagram post where he also announced his successor: Liam Hemsworth. (Netflix also confirmed the news via their TUDUM fan site.)
"Some news to share from The Continent…" Cavill's post began. "My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4. In my stead, the fantastic Mr Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf."
Cavill's news comes just days after it was confirmed that he will be returning to the DC movie universe as Superman after his cameo appearance at the end of "Black Adam." Per Variety, in a recent live taping of the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast in New York City, he said of his return, "There is such a bright future ahead for the character. I'm so excited to tell a story with an enormously joyful Superman."
While Cavill has yet to share if his return to the DC universe is behind his exit from "The Witcher," his post did make it clear that he's excited to see what Hemsworth does with the character. "As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam's take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men," he wrote. "Liam, good sir, this character has such a wonderful depth to him, enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find."
For his part, Hemsworth has already expressed his excitement to step into Geralt's muddy boots. "The Hunger Games" actor shared his own post on Instagram praising Cavill and sharing how eager he is to begin filming season four.
"As a Witcher fan I'm over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia," Hemsworth wrote. "Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I'm honoured that he's handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf's blades for the next chapter of his adventure."
He continued, "Henry, I've been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. I may have some big boots to fill, but I'm truly excited to be stepping into The Witcher world."

The Casamigos Halloween Party Brought Out the Stars Including Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, and Paris Hilton
Celebrities brought their costume A-game for Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford's annual Halloween bash, the Casamigos Halloween Party, held on Oct. 28 for some of Hollywood's brightest stars. The party's highlights included Rebel Wilson and her girlfriend Ramona Agruma arriving as in-the-box Barbies along with a group of their friends, Brody Jenner's slightly frightening Anthony Fauci costume, and MGK and Fox pulling off an impressive couple costume thanks to their spot-on recreation of early '00s-era Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson.
Elsewhere, Stephen Amell and his wife, Cassandra, threw it back to the early '00s too as Wilson and "Cast Away"'s Chuck (played by Tom Hanks in 2000 movie). Hilton was feeling similarly nostalgic as she donned a Sailor Moon costume. The former reality star shared extra snaps of her costume on Instagram, alongside a caption explaining why she decided to go as the iconic anime character. Henry Cavill Walks the Red Carpet With Girlfriend Natalie Viscuso For the First Time
One year after making their relationship Instagram official, "The Witcher" star Henry Cavill and his girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, finally made their red carpet debut at the "Enola Holmes 2" premiere in New York City on Thursday. Cavill, who stars as Sherlock Holmes in the mystery film alongside Millie Bobby Brown as the title character, arrived dressed like a cross between the consulting detective and another of his onscreen roles: Clark Kent, aka Superman.
The crossover outfit comes just days after Cavill confirmed he'll be returning as the superhero in an upcoming film. Playing off Superman's signature look, Cavill let a few stray waves drape across his forehead, drawing attention to his pinstripe suit and herring-red tie, the perfect complement to Viscuso's creamy, film-noir-style cape dress. Holding each other in a sweet embrace, the couple posed for the cameras with smiles on their faces.
While Cavill usually works in front of the camera, Viscuso is the vice president of TV at Vertigo Entertainment, working behind the scenes to release shows like "The Stand," based on the Stephen King novel, and "Them." Previously, she also worked as vice president of television and digital studios at Legendary Entertainment, the same company that helped produce Cavill's films "Man of Steel" (2013) and "Enola Holmes" (2020).
The couple first announced their relationship on Instagram in April 2021. "This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess," Cavill captioned a photo of the pair doing just that. Previously, the star was linked to Kaley Cuoco, who recently announced that she and her boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey, are expecting their first child.
In the year since their announcement, Cavill and Viscuso have kept the majority of their relationship private, but in May, Cavill shared photos and videos from his birthday dinner on Instagram, thanking his "sous chef Natalie" for the delicious meal.

Raven Knows Her "Love Is Blind" Jumping Jacks Moment Was "Cringe to Watch"
"Love Is Blind"'s Raven Ross knows her on-screen jumping jacks were a wild moment to watch. If you recall from episode two of season three, Ross decided to take a quick exercise break during one of her pod dates. The only problem is, she took it right in the middle of a heartfelt conversation with her costar Bartiste Bowden, who was spilling his heart out about his parents' divorce. But Ross tells POPSUGAR that she's remorseful (and a little embarrassed) about the moment now.
"It was so horrible and cringe to watch, and I am so sorry to that man," she says. "But it's all on me. I definitely take responsibility and I swear I will literally never do another jumping jack," she joked. "Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever."
"Love Is Blind" viewers didn't waste a single second roasting Ross for her cringeworthy moment when season three first premiered Oct. 19. One Twitter user wrote, "Raven exercising while Bartiste is pouring his heart out is sooooo out of touch but sooooo funny like what!!!????!!!😭🤣😫😭," while another tweeted, "I cannot believe Raven is doing jumping jacks and hip thrusts while Bartise is sharing trauma PLSSS."
Bowden didn't let Ross get away with her exercise shenanigans either, as he called her out in the moment. "I was like, 'Oh my God, Bartiste gets as deep as he's ever gotten in his life, and the person listening to him is doing a f*cking workout,'" he joked to Ross on the show. Despite the crazy scene, Bowden says he and Ross - who dated in the pods but ultimately didn't get engaged in - found humor in it afterward.
"I'm glad I called her out after that though, like I hear you!" he jokes to us. "It's one of those things where it was cringe to watch [but] we actually talked about it on that date after and we kind of laughed about it. We both were into fitness and had these long dates with multiple people that, you know, you might have to get up and do a jumping jack. It was just the inopportune time for her to do that."
In Ross's defense, her costar Brennon Lemieux tells POPSUGAR, "She's got like this ADHD thing going on so she's gotta keep moving," adding, "but if you don't know that it looks like, 'Wow, what?'"

Rihanna Makes Massive Music Return on "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" Soundtrack
Marvel is pulling out all the stops for "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" ahead of its Nov. 11 premiere.
The highly anticipated sequel shut down San Diego Comic-Con on July 23, as the cast and director Ryan Coogler unveiled the movie's first teaser trailer - set to a beautiful cover of Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry," sung by Tems, mixed with Kendrick Lamar's famous "Alright" anthem. But the film's soundtrack is even more star-studded now that Rihanna has officially confirmed she's recorded a song for it!
On Oct. 26, the "Anti" singer shared a clip on social media teasing a 14-second snippet of her soon-to-be released song, "Lift Me Up," set to drop on Oct. 28. According to Walt Disney Studios, the song, produced by Ludwig Göransson, was "written as a tribute to the extraordinary life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman" by Rihanna, Tems, Coogler, and Göransson.
"After speaking with Ryan and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I've lost in my life," Tems said in a press release. "I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them. Rihanna has been an inspiration to me so hearing her convey this song is a great honor."
The forthcoming track will kick off Rihanna's return to music and the next era of her iconic career - which already includes eight solo albums, with her R9 project still on the way. Rihanna released her last album, "Anti," in 2016, followed by her collaborations, including 2017's "Lemon" with N.E.R.D. and "Believe It" from PartyNextDoor's "PartyMobile" album in 2020.
Along with the first few glimpses of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," Marvel has already released three tracks from the prologue soundtrack, including Tems's cover and additional songs by Amaarae and Santa Fe Klan. There's still no word on who produced the full soundtrack, although fans are hopeful Lamar and his former label head Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith will return to work their magic just like they did for the first "Black Panther" film. Lil Nas X Recalls His "Wildest" Tour Story: "It Was Really Gross"
Lil Nas X is currently on the road, shutting down shows on his "Long Live Montero" world tour. Between traveling to new cities every other night and working on his next album, the "Industry Baby" artist recently found time to promote his partnership with M&M's, as the two unveiled the latest phase of their collaboration last month with their new limited-edition M&M'S packs.
"Definitely a big growing period for me, moving around so much every night."
"I'm genuinely excited to work with such an iconic brand, such as M&M's, and to be doing this with an inspired connection through music," Lil Nas X tells POPSUGAR. "It's very powerful. The part I'm most excited about is that these limited edition packs are inspired by my 'Long Live Montero' tour. I think it's really cool."
Speaking of his tour, which marks his first stint of live solo shows, Lil Nas X says, "It's been the best time of my life." "Definitely a big growing period for me, moving around so much every night," he adds. "It's been so dope. Leaving a concert and seeing people waiting for you, I'm like, 'Are you guys waiting for me?'"
If you've been keeping up with headlines, Lil Nas X's "Long Live Montero" tour has been filled with memorable moments. Just last week, he brought out Saucy Santana during one of his Los Angeles tour stops to perform their yet-to-be-released collaboration, "Down Souf Hoes," and then posed for a backstage photo with Will Ferrell. Most notably, on Sept. 29, Lil Nas X paused one of his Atlanta shows for a bathroom emergency, which he disclosed to the audience and later his Twitter followers. "lmao people really thought i was joking," he tweeted. "i was literally back there dropping demons into that toilet." But according to the Grammy-winning star, that's not his wildest tour story.
"I think I have a couple of them," Lil Nas X says. "Literally, three nights ago, I was nauseous and I took something to try and calm the nausea and I threw up - I vomited. It was really gross, it sucked so much, and then I had to go and perform like five minutes later so I didn't let people down. There's another bodily story I have but I don't want to share that one."
While Lil Nas X is making plenty of tour memories on his own, he did reveal the artist he'd love to hit the road with next: "Doja [Cat] - I feel like that'd be super dope."
As far as what's next for Lil Nas X - besides new music, of course - he teased a small detail about his upcoming Halloween costume that just might top his previous ones - including his Nicki Minaj, Lord Voldemort, and "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" costumes. "This costume this year is very niche," he shares. "The people that love it are going to love it."

Matthew Perry Says He Left Julia Roberts Because He Thought "She Was Going to Break Up With Me"
Matthew Perry's memoir "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing" dives into some of the most difficult parts of the actor's life. In it, Perry promises to get remarkably candid about everything from his struggles with addiction to certain questionable decisions he made - like breaking up with Julia Roberts. In an excerpt from the memoir published in the U.K.'s The Times on Oct. 25, Perry revealed he had a secret relationship with Roberts, but his low self-esteem made him break up with her.
In the excerpt, Perry shared that Roberts agreed to make a guest appearance on "Friends" - but she "would only do the show if she could be in my storyline," he wrote. In an effort to get her on the show, Perry sent Roberts a bundle of roses along with a note that read, "The only thing more exciting than the prospect of you doing the show is that I finally have an excuse to send you flowers." Per Entertainment Weekly, Roberts replied by asking Perry to explain quantum physics to her, and the next day Perry sent back an in-depth explanation about wave-particle duality.
In response, Roberts sent him a bunch of bagels, and the pair soon began a three-month relationship, often communicating through faxes. They even rang in 1996 with a romantic New Year's Eve together. "She made me feel like the king of the world," Perry wrote. Roberts also wound up guest-starring on the "Friends" episode "The One After The Superbowl, Part 2," which aired on Jan. 28, 1996 - playing a character who was obsessed with Perry's character, Chandler.
But Perry wound up breaking up with Roberts because of his own personal insecurities. "Dating Julia Roberts had been too much for me," he wrote. "I had been constantly certain that she was going to break up with me. Why would she not? I was not enough; I could never be enough; I was broken, bent, unlovable. So instead of facing the inevitable agony of losing her, I broke up with the beautiful and brilliant Julia Roberts."
Perry's memoir, which will be released Nov. 1, dives deep into the actor's struggles, which include addiction issues that led to 15 stays in rehab and 14 stomach surgeries, according to People. "I think they'll be surprised at how bad it got at certain times and how close to dying I came," Perry wrote. But by writing the book and airing out his secrets, Perry hopes to help people feel less alone. "My hope is that people will relate to it, and know that this disease attacks everybody," he added. "It doesn't matter if you're successful or not successful, the disease doesn't care."

James Corden Further Addresses Balthazar Drama: "I Made a Rude Comment and It Was Wrong"

James Corden is further addressing the claims surrounding his alleged "abusive" behavior towards employees at NYC restaurant Balthazar. "Last week, there were stories about me being banned from a restaurant, and at the time, I considered tweeting about it or Instagramming about it, but whenever these sort of moments come my way, I like to adopt quite a British attitude of sort of keep calm and carry on," he said on the Oct. 24 episode of "The Late Late Show With James Corden." However, after a talk with his father, Corden had a change of heart. "Look when you make a mistake, you got to take responsibility, so I thought I would share with you what happened."
Corden explained, "A couple of weeks ago, I was in New York with some friends and we went to breakfast at one of my absolute favorite restaurants - this place called Balthazar. And I, genuinely, I love it there . . . We sit down and we ordered, and my wife explained that she has a serious food allergy, so when everybody's meals came, my wife was given the food that she was allergic to - she hadn't taken a bite of anything, no worries, we sent it back, all was good."
The late-night host claimed that her meal came wrong a third time, so "in the heat of the moment," he made a "sarcastic rude comment about cooking it myself." He added, "It is a comment I deeply regret. I understand the difficulties of being a server. I worked shifts at restaurants for years. I have such respect and I value anyone that does such a job and the team at that restaurant are so great. That's why I love it there."
Corden continued: "But here's the truth of it, because I didn't shout or scream, I didn't get up out of my seat, I didn't call anyone names or use derogatory language, I'd been walking around thinking that I hadn't done anything wrong, but the truth is, I have. I made a rude comment, and it was wrong. It was an unnecessary comment. It was ungracious to the server."
Corden also mentioned that he called owner Keith McNally to personally apologize. "I hope I'm allowed in one day, so when I'm back in New York, I can go there and apologize in person, which is something I would absolutely do," he concluded.
In a previous interview with The New York Times published on Oct. 21 and conducted the day prior, the late-night host didn't share his own version of the incidents reported by McNally or confirm that he apologized, Corden said he hadn't "done anything wrong, on any level."
"So why would I ever cancel this [interview]? I was there. I get it. I feel so Zen about the whole thing. Because I think it's so silly. I just think it's beneath all of us. It's beneath you. It's certainly beneath your publication." When asked by the reporter if Corden was familiar with McNally's accusations against him and reports of a subsequent apology, "The Late Late Show" host said, "I haven't really read anything. It's strange. It's strange when you were there. I think I'm probably going to have to talk about it on Monday's show. My feeling, often, is, never explain, never complain. But I'll probably have to talk about it."
Adding that the online chatter was "silly," Corden attributed the talk about his behavior to trolls on social media. "Should we not all be a little grown-up about this? . . . I've been here, been walking around New York, not one person's come up to me. We're dealing in two worlds here. If I lived on Twitter, Hillary Clinton is the president of the United States and Jeremy Corbyn won by a landslide."
On Oct. 17, McNally shared that Corden had apologized for his behavior toward employees at the popular NYC restaurant frequented by the stars. After initially accusing the late-night host of mistreating the restaurant's waitstaff on Instagram on Oct. 17, a few hours later, McNally said Corden had kindly responded to his claims.
"James Corden just called me and apologized profusely," McNally wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Corden. "Having f*cked up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances." He also joked, "So if James Corden lets me host his Late Late Show for 9 months, I'll immediately rescind his ban from Balthazar. No, of course not. But . . . anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn't deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazar. So Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is Forgiven. xx."
Earlier that day, McNally, who also owns famed NYC establishments like Pastis, Morandi, and Minetta Tavern, detailed incidents involving the "Late Late Show" host. "James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man. And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago," he wrote, before explaining an incident in June in which Corden was "extremely nasty" to a Balthazar manager after finding a hair in his dish, and another a few weeks prior when he yelled at a server upon receiving an incorrect order. "You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!" Corden allegedly said to the server.
"I don't often 86 a customer, [but] today I 86'd Corden. It did not make me laugh," McNally continued. ("86" is a term used in the restaurant industry in reference to removing a customer from an establishment or an item from the menu.)
Corden's representatives did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment.

In first-look photos, the Abbott teachers and faculty - Quinta Brunson (Janine), Tyler James Williams (Gregory), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Barbara), Janelle James (Ava), Lisa Ann Walter Melissa), Chris Perfetti (Jacob), and William Stanford Davis (Mr. Johnson) - are dressed in their hilarious costume choices as they band together to uncover more mischief happening at the school - which really just means they're looking for the culprit who stole a bag of candy meant for the students, per the episode's logline.

In an interview with TVLine, "Abbott Elementary" coshowrunners Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker teased some fun details about the episode. "I'm so excited for people to see [it]," the former said. "I think it's one of the best things we've ever done. When I think about it, I'm like, 'Oh, man, people are going to lose their mind about this.'" Schumacker added, "I did not envy our director, Shahrzad Davani, on that episode. It was such a puzzle putting it together with, obviously, everybody in crazy costumes. And there's more action than one might expect."
"Abbott Elementary" fans can't wait to see what's in store for the show's Halloween episode either. Leading up to it, a Twitter user predicted the cast's whimsical costume choices via a thread and wrote in a tweet, "What I think each teacher from Abbott Elementary will wear on the Halloween episode - a speculative thread."
Meanwhile, photos from "Abbott Elementary"'s Halloween episode that circulated online on Oct. 4 sent the internet into a frenzy, with one user tweeting, "THE HALLOWEEN EPISODE IS UPON US #abbottelementary." That same day, Philadelphia 76ers player James Harden posted one of the photos where Brunson is dressed like him via Twitter with a crying laughing emoji.

Taylor Swift cast a dizzying array of famous faces in the music videos for her "Midnights" album. The cameos began in the "Anti-Hero" visual, which arrived on Oct. 21 and features comedians Mike Birbiglia, John Early, and Mary Elizabeth Ellis as Swift's future sons and daughter-in-law, respectively. The music pauses for two whole minutes as the tacky trio hilariously squabble over Swift's will at her funeral, making for quite the entertaining scene.
Several days later, Swift took the star power to the next level for her Cinderella-themed "Bejeweled" music video, throwing in appearances by Laura Dern, the Haim sisters, Pat McGrath, and more. While posting several behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot on Instagram, the Grammy winner wrote, "Bejeweled video is out NOW! Directed by this tired tacky wench. During a "Tonight Show" interview on Oct. 24, Swift shared insight into her criteria for selecting celebrities to appear in her videos. "One of the prerequisites when I cast anyone for anything is 'Are they fun and are they nice and are we gonna have a fun time on set?'" she told host Jimmy Fallon. Beyoncé Teases "Renaissance" Tour For Summer 2023
After much speculation, it seems Beyoncé is taking "Renaissance" on tour next summer! Queen Bey hasn't made an official announcement just yet, but on Saturday, Oct. 22, a concert experience was raffled off at the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala - at which the Grammy winner was in attendance. Beyoncé's rep did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment about the announcement.
The concert package was valued at $20,000 and included first-class plane tickets, a three-night hotel stay, two "Renaissance" concert tickets, and a guided backstage tour from Tina Knowles-Lawson, Beyoncé's mom. The event, which takes place in Santa Monica, CA, was founded by Knowles-Lawson and her husband, Richard Lawson, to benefit the WACO (Where Art Can Occur) Theater's youth programs.
While the exact amount that the package was auctioned off for has yet to be revealed, video footage from the event shows bids reaching $50,000 and more, as reported by Yahoo News. The only thing that's certain is that the first two tickets to the "Renaissance" tour appear to have been sold. For now, news on tour dates and when tickets will go on sale for the general public remains under wraps.
Beyoncé released her seventh solo album, act one of a three-part series, in July, six years after she gave us 2016's "Lemonade." The 41-year-old Grammy-winning icon celebrated its release on her website, writing, "We did it!!! Thank you all so much for you love and support . . . This was years of experimentation. This was years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. I'm so grateful and it was worth it. I'm thankful that it was received and understood."
