Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have been married since 2010, and from the looks of it, they're still going strong. On May 25, the pair stepped out in Sydney, Australia, to celebrate the upcoming release of their film "Interceptor." Pataky, 45, wore an elegant long black gown, while Hemsworth, 38, donned a sharp black three-piece suit and a slightly unbuttoned white button-down. Shortly after the premiere, Hemsworth posted photos of the pair on Instagram, writing, "Amazing night at the premiere of my beautiful and talented wife's new film Interceptor!"
In "Interceptor," Pataky plays a military captain named JJ Collins who is forced to fight a coordinated assault on her missile interceptor base. The film required Pataky to partake in a demanding training regimen. "In the four months leading up to filming, I was training four to five hours a day, learning all the moves," Pataky said to Tudum. "All 800 of them. It was really hard work, but I enjoyed every second of it."
Hemsworth executive produced the film, and apparently, he used his extensive previous action film experience to show Pataky the ropes. "He was so bossy!" Pataky said in a May 24 interview on "The Project." "He was just telling me, like, 'This is the right angle when you punch.' He was just showing me how to do it, what is the right position you have to have. He has been doing it for a long time. It was great having him. He was supporting me from the beginning, from when he first read the script. He said, 'You have to do this. It's going to be fun – you will enjoy it. I know how much you like this kind of movie.'"
Pataky and Hemsworth reside in Byron Bay in Hemsworth's homeland of Australia, and are parents to three kids, Sasha, Tristan, and India. The couple often share adorable photos of their kids, and they also regularly support each other online.
Hemsworth will soon star in "Thor: Love and Thunder," which premieres July 8. Meanwhile, "Interceptor" hits Netflix on June 3.
