Abhishek Bachchan Opens Up About Why He Was Missing From Films For 2 Years
Abhishek Bachchan has proved his mettle with every film he has been associated with be it Guru, Bluffmaster or even the Dhoom franchise. While his fans love to watch the actor on the 70mm, the last two years has been a rough patch for them as Abhishek wasn’t a part of a single project. After starring in Sajid-Farhad’s 2016 comedy Housefull 3, Abhishek is finally returning to the screens with Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan. Recently in an interview with PTI, the actor revealed the reason for his two years break.
Abhishek said,
I just wanted to re-evaluate where I was in life, wanted to re-energise myself. There was a definite complacency that had come into my work and I wanted to change that. It is not just about this industry, life in general, it is about out of sight, out of mind. Initially, it was a thought that I had. But I was very confident that it would not become an issue.
While he has been a part of great scripts before, Abhishek added that he wanted to change his approach towards films.
I have worked very hard on all the films I have done. I have loved all the films that I have done and I have enjoyed every one of them. (But) I felt my personal approach needed to change.
After Manmarziyaan which also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, the actor will next be seen in Anurag’s next Gulab Jamun which also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Talking about Abhishek’s two years gap, we are glad that Jr. Bachchan is back on the silver screen. We missed you, AB!

Richa Chadha Takes A Unique Way To Help Kerala Flood Victims
Richa Chadha who has been busy shooting for her upcoming biopic, Shakeela directed by Indrajit Lankesh has always been vocal with her support, no matter what the cause. With the Kerala floods that have ravaged the state and with many lives lost and upturned, the actress set out to help her co-star, Rajeev Pillai. She immediately raised funds to help her costar in rebuilding his native village. Apart from that she also donated monetary funds to various relief funds across the state.
Richa who is vocal when it comes to animal welfare spoke up about operations of rescuing animals who were stranded with nowhere to go in these catastrophic floods. The NGO who Richa has been associated with for over a year deployed a team of volunteers to Kerala. She reached out to the masses by posting on social media to tell them how they can contribute to the same.
Talking about her initiative, Richa said:
It’s a human responsibility to come together during adverse times and everyone should do their best in their capacity to show compassion for those suffering. In times of calamities, it’s a collaborative efforts of all who are willing to help. You could be anywhere but can always make a difference but doing the best you can and I pledged to support the post floods rescue help by doing my bit.
Kudos to the actress for reaching out and doing her bit in helping Kerala.

The Unplugged Version Of ‘Daryaa’ From ‘Manmarziyaan’ Is Soulful
Ever since the trailer of Manmarziyaan came out I have been both impressed and intrigued by the story of the film. The little preview that the makers gave us was enough to take my level of excitement of the film to the next level. Tbh, I loved all three lead characters and their flawed, exciting and intriguing ways of pursuing love. It’s raw, crass and real and I can’t wait until the film comes out. Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal have done a fabulous job and while the movie is still a week away from its release, I am hooked to its album and how!
Daryaa is my absolute favourite and the makers have now launched an unplugged version of it too and I love it too!

Aayush Sharma Discloses The Reason Behind Arpita Khan Sharma Deleting Katrina Kaif & Salma Khan’s Latest Photo
It’s no secret that Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan make a great on-screen pair. After Tiger Zinda Hai, the couple has now come back together for Ali Abbas Zafar‘s directorial, Bharat. Salman recently shared an eye-grabbing first look of him and Kat from the film and sent fans in a frenzy. But a couple of days ago, another photo from the sets of the film was revealed, it didn’t feature Salman but had Kat with his mom, Salma Khan. Fans, of course, loved the photo shared by Arpita Khan Sharma and left ‘Saas Bahu’ comments on it too.
However, she soon deleted the photo leaving fans confused as to why she had done so. Reports that Arpita deleted the photo as it revealed Katrina’s look from one of the pivotal scenes immediately started doing the rounds. While Arpita was unavailable for a comment, her husband, Aayush Sharma, was asked about it during Loveratri’s promotional event, and here’ what he had to say:
Pata nahi, kyun delete ki. Achhi photo thi, maine bhi dekhi. (I don’t know why she deleted the photo, I’d seen it too.) Woh on-set photos honge ya koi galat connotation na chala jaye is liye delete ki hongi. (Maybe she did it to avoid any wrong connotations since it was an on-set photo. ) But, it was a sweet photo.
Whatever the reason maybe we’re glad we got a glimpse of Kat in that gorgeous avatar, what about you?

Richa who is vocal when it comes to animal welfare spoke up about operations of rescuing animals who were stranded with nowhere to go in these catastrophic floods. The NGO who Richa has been associated with for over a year deployed a team of volunteers to Kerala. She reached out to the masses by posting on social media to tell them how they can contribute to the same.
Talking about her initiative, Richa said:
It’s a human responsibility to come together during adverse times and everyone should do their best in their capacity to show compassion for those suffering. In times of calamities, it’s a collaborative efforts of all who are willing to help. You could be anywhere but can always make a difference but doing the best you can and I pledged to support the post floods rescue help by doing my bit.
Kudos to the actress for reaching out and doing her bit in helping Kerala.
