"Emily in Paris" Season 4 Will Include "Unexpected Twists" and a Roman Holiday

"Emily in Paris" season 4 doesn't have a release date, but Lily Collins did spill a few details about the upcoming season at Netflix's TUDUM fan event in Brazil on June 17. In the video, Collins promised more twists to come, as well as a Roman holiday for Emily.

"We are getting ready for season 4 of 'Emily in Paris' and are so excited to see what's next for Emily. It's safe to say we ended on a dramatic note last season, and surprise! It does not end there," Collins said. "What I can tell is we have more fun, more fashion and of course, more drama in store for you all. Emily is going to have to decide if everything she's ever wanted is really what she needs and while Emily's heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don't be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday."

"Emily in Paris" season three ended with a shocking finale twist. While season 3 answered all our questions about Emily's (Lily Collins) fate in the City of Love - career- and dating-wise. However, season three dragged her back into her never-ending love square after Camille (Camille Razat) revealed she knew Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Emily still have feelings for each other - but not before announcing she's pregnant!

"We always get surprised every season, so we can't even predict what's going to happen."

Yes, the twist we may (or may not) have seen coming might have just put an end to Emily and Alfie's (Lucien Laviscount) sweet romance once and for all. But it also leaves us wondering what the future holds for Emily, Gabriel, and Camille (and their baby?) - and, unfortunately for us, the cast are just as clueless about what's up ahead for season four - which Netflix green lit back in January 2022.

"We don't actually know the timeframe between [seasons] three and four," Collins tells POPSUGAR. "You know how sometimes it picks up a day after or a few days [later]? We don't know anything about season four yet, so we don't know if we might pick up in a decision or in still lack of decision. We would love to know." Samuel Arnold, who plays Julian, adds, "We always get surprised every season, so we can't even predict what's going to happen."

Well, if we know nothing else, Bruno Gouery, who stars as Luc, is certain that season four's plot will definitely revolve around Camille's shocking news. "We discover incredible information [in the finale]," he says, "and that information, it will be the center of season four."

Obviously, Collins's Emily, whom Laviscount calls the show's "not-so-secret weapon," will surely return to settle all of our frantic thoughts. And though season four details - including the returning cast, plot, and premiere date - are scarce, William Abadie, who plays Antoine, predicts that the show's return will deliver more of that "Darren Star magic." "We've got France as a country, the locations, we've got a lot more fun on our way," he says. "I think we've got a nice little thing here."

While we wait to hear more about "Emily in Paris" season four, go ahead and catch up on season three, now streaming on Netflix.

Quavo and Offset Celebrate Takeoff on the Migos Rapper's First Birthday Since His Death

Takeoff's fellow Migos members are honoring the late rapper on his first birthday since his death. On June 18, Takeoff's uncle Quavo posted a video from a shopping trip he shared with his nephew on Instagram. He also posted multiple birthday messages and photos of Takeoff on his Instagram Story. Meanwhile, the third member of the group, Offset, shared a carousel of photos featuring his late friend on his own grid.

Quavo's video features him discussing whether or not to purchase a denim jacket with his nephew. He captioned his post, "Happy Birthday @yrntakeoff can't wait for days like this again!!! BEST believe we goin up all week the Rocket way GEEKD." He also shared a number of throwback photos in his Instagram Stories featuring captions like "Happy Birthday Take, Love You Phew Til Infinity," and "It's Yo F*cking Birthdayyyyyyy."

As for Offset, the rapper, who was long thought to be Takeoff and Quavo's cousin, shared a selection of photos of his late friend from throughout the years. "Happy birthday rocket man," he wrote. "The greatest to touch a mic!! best spirit ever!! purest man I know your heart was golden bring me peace bra we celebrate your life because you still right here I love you gang."

Takeoff was shot and killed on November 1, 2022, at a Houston bowling alley. He was 28 at the time of his death. June 18 would have marked his 29th birthday.

In a May interview with Variety, Offset revealed how difficult it still is for him to discuss the loss of his friend. "It's hard for me to talk about sh*t right now," he said. "I've never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man. Talking about all this sh*t is hard. That's why I don't, to be honest. That sh*t hurts. Like, it's gonna put me in a mood, and I don't want to get in that mood. Some things I don't never tell nobody. He's not here. That sh*t feels fake, bro. I get through my day thinking it's fake. And I don't say nothing to nobody about it."

Netflix's "Squid Game: The Challenge" Teaser Reveals a Real-Life Red Light Green Light Doll

Netflix is hosting a "Squid Game" reality TV show inspired by the survival drama series - but don't worry, the stakes aren't life or death. In June 2022, the streaming platform announced "the biggest reality competition ever" at the Banff World Media Festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Just like the series, the competition will host 456 contestants - the largest cast in a competition yet - battling it out in a string of mind-bending games to win a massive cash prize.

On June 17, Netflix offered fans in Brazil a sneak peek at what's to come on the reality competition during the streamer's annual Tudum fan event. "The world's most notorious game becomes reality," the text in the video read.

While specific games haven't been announced, the 10-episode series will be "full of tension and twists,"and an IRL (but nondeadly) Red Light, Green Light doll has been confirmed. Fans of the show would also love to see a tug-of-war game, and a dalgona-candy challenge so frustrating we'll be clinging to the edge of our seats as we watch from the comfort of our couches. But we also fully expect a few new challenges to be added to keep contestants on their toes, which means things could get dicey.

The original announcement came just days after Netflix officially renewed "Squid Game" for a second season. "We're grateful for this support as we turn the fictional world into reality in this massive competition and social experiment," Netflix's Brandon Riegg said. "Fans of the drama series are in for a fascinating and unpredictable journey."

Netflix has not yet revealed the identities of the contestants who will face off with that creepy doll for a cash prize. However, in February, Deadline reported that three of the 465 players needed medical attention during filming. This sparked an independent safety assessment from Britain's Health and Safety Executive, but the organization ultimately decided no further action needed to be taken.

In the original Netflix series, Gi-hun takes home 45.6 billion won, or about $38 million. For anyone cunning and fortuitous enough to make it to the end of the reality TV competition, the cash prize will be a whopping $4.56 million, the largest cash prize in TV history. It's not yet clear how the money will be distributed or whether several winners will be able to split the prize.

"Terminator" Star Linda Hamilton Is Joining "Stranger Things" Season 5

While "Stranger Things" season five filming may be on hold due to the Writers Guild of America strike, there is some exciting news about the upcoming installment to tide fans over. During Netflix's TUDUM event on June 17, it was announced that Linda Hamilton, of "Terminator" fame, will be joining the series.

The news follows confirmation from Matt and Ross Duffer, creators of the sci-fi phenomenon, that work on the show's final season won't resume until after the labor union votes to end the strike. "Duffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we're excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike," the creators wrote from the "Stranger Things" writers' Twitter account on May 6. "We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then -- over and out. #wgastrong"

Prior to the strike, small bits of intel about "Stranger Things" season five started trickling in from Hawkins. Back in March, at the 2023 Middle East Film & Comic Con in Abu Dhabi, series star David Harbour said filming for the final season was originally set to begin in June, Collider reported. Now, it's unclear how delayed that'll be.

Harbour's update came a few months after the Duffer brothers had originally told IndieWire in August 2022 that the show's final season was unlikely to introduce any major new characters, adding that their goal is to keep season five's focus firmly on the existing cast. "We're doing our best to resist [adding new characters] for Season 5," Matt said. "We're trying not to do that so we can focus on the OG characters, I guess."

The Duffers had admitted that it was hard not to expand the world of Hawkins in the final stretch. After all, "Stranger Things" has only become richer thanks to the addition of characters like Max (Sadie Sink), Robin (Maya Hawke), and Eddie (Joseph Quinn). But at this stage, the brothers are all too aware that they have limited screen time available to wrap up the story.

"Whenever we introduce a new character, we want to make sure that they're going to be an integral part of the narrative. . . . But every time we do that, we're nervous," Ross explained, "because you go, 'We've got a great cast of characters here, and actors, and any moment we're spending with a new character, we're taking time away from one of the other actors.' So we're just very, very careful about who we're introducing."

Clearly, Hamilton's character must be a crucial one for the Duffers to have changed their minds.

The creative team have mostly kept their plans for the new season top secret. But still, a few other nuggets of information have been announced to keep viewers satisfied in the interim. For starters, the "Stranger Things" writers previously announced that they were working on season five, per an Aug. 2 tweet from the series' page that read "Day 1" above a photo of a whiteboard. So, at the very least, fans may find comfort in knowing that some of the show's final season was mapped out prior to the writers' strike.

Additionally, the season four finale definitely looks toward a final season that will have more chaos, more drama, and more monsters than ever before.
