Exclusively speaking with PEOPLE at The Bachelor: Women Tell All taping last week, the 28-year-old pilot addressed Prewett’s perspective about potentially not moving forward in their relationship if she found out he had slept with the other contestants during Fantasy Suites.
“I would’ve loved to have had that conversation a little bit sooner, not leading into the week of fantasy suites,” Weber told PEOPLE. “But I also don’t fault her at all for what she told me, because I was very clear with all the women from the very first night to please share what’s ever on your heart.”
“Do not hold anything back, and if it’s on your heart, I need to know that,” he added. “And that’s all that she did. People try to say it’s an ultimatum. It wasn’t. She simply felt I needed to know what she was feeling and I could see how uncomfortable it was for her to have that conversation with me. But at the end of the day, I’m a hypocrite if I tried to say that that wasn’t right for her to do that.”
During Monday night’s episode, Prewett — who had revealed she is saving herself for marriage — pulled Weber aside to address her “expectations” heading into the Fantasy Suite dates.
“I don’t think Peter knows how much I’m struggling with moving to the next level of the Fantasy Suites and an engagement,” she admitted. “That is a really huge, major step. My faith is literally everything to me and I have saved myself for marriage. I can’t keep moving forward and continuing this relationship if I don’t get the clarity and peace and confidence that I need.”
“In no way do I want to give you an ultimatum,” Prewett said. “But for me, actions speak louder than words.”
After two dreamy dates with Hannah Ann Sluss and Victoria Fuller, Weber revealed to Prewett he had been intimate with other women.
“I don’t want this to feel like it’s all about sex, but this is really a big thing right now for us,” he told Prewett during a sit down dinner. “I don’t know how else to do this. I’ll just be very honest and I won’t give any details, but I have been intimate, and I can’t lie to you about that.”
“I feel really, really hurt and really let down,” she said in a confessional. “He knew coming into this week, because I had made it clear, that there was a chance that he could lose me if he made certain decisions and he made them anyways. I’m so frustrated with him, I’m so mad at him.”
After going after her, Weber said, “If you can honestly see you and me together forever, do not walk away. Please don’t. I know that I hurt you and I’m sorry for that, but please don’t walk away from this.”
A Michigan woman was taken into police custody after allegedly telling authorities that she had turned off her mother’s life support equipment and cut the tubes attached to it, according to multiple reports.
Corrine Damm, 59, was arrested on Feb. 1 after she called 911 and told a dispatcher she had shut off the her 78-year-old mother’s ventilator at Gladwin Pines Nursing & Rehabilitation, according to Michigan local news outlet Mlive.com, citing a police report.
A nurse heard the ventilator beeping and turned it back on after approximately 60 seconds, the online publication reported. The mom survived the incident.
“Corinne advised her mother, said she can’t do this anymore and that she wanted to die,” according to notes from a police interview. “Corinne advised it wasn’t like she was trying to plan a mercy killing, she just could not watch her mother in all the pain.”
Damm allegedly told officers that she had also cut the tubes attached to her mother’s life support system using a pair of scissors that were in the room as “she figured it wouldn’t be like killing her because she keeps breathing” when not on a ventilator at home, the Mlive.com reported.
The police report said Damm told a nurse her father had already made the decision to take her mom off life support and that it was going to happen on the same day as the incident, but her younger sister stopped it, according to the website.
According to WPBN-TV, Damm, who was originally charged with attempted murder, has since pleaded no contest to a third-degree abuse of vulnerable adult charge as a part of a plea deal. Her sentencing is set for March 23.

The Gladwin Police Department did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. An attorney for Damm and the Gladwin County Prosecuting Attorneys Office could not be reached by PEOPLE.
President Donald Trump on Wednesday night said Vice President Mike Pence will be leading the federal government’s response to the novel coronavirus outbreak that American health officials believe will eventually reach the U.S.
Trump, 73, touted Pence’s track record on health care while Pence was governor of Indiana before being elected vice president.
“They’ve established great health care, they have a great system there, a system that a lot of the other states have really looked to,” Trump said, adding, “He’s really very expert at the field.”
Almost immediately after naming Pence, 60, to his czar-like role in combating coronavirus, journalists and Trump critics online quicklypointed back to Pence’s handling of an HIV outbreak while he was governor there and deeply conflicted about what his moral convictions would allow versus what experts said was the most effective solution.
Needle exchanges were illegal and Pence initially resisted changing the rule, as dozens of people became infected. The total eventually reached almost 200.
“It was disappointing that it took so much effort to bring the governor on board,” a Republican lawmaker in Indiana told the Times.

“When confronted with a spiraling HIV outbreak in his home state as a result of opioid addicts sharing contaminated needles, Pence dragged his feet before agreeing to lift a ban on programs that distribute sterile needles,” according to Politico.
Gregorio Millett, the Foundation for AIDS Research’s director of public policy, told Politico the the spread of the virus was “entirely preventable.”
“I am opposed to needle exchange as anti-drug policy,” Pence said then. “But this is a public health emergency and, as governor of the state of Indiana, I’m going to put the lives of the people of Indiana first.”
“We must give Gov. Pence credit for finally doing the right thing in the end,” Millett told Politico.
Still: “Indiana taxpayers could have been saved millions of dollars for treating those affected by the HIV outbreak if effective prevention policies were already in place,” he said.
“We have had great success in our needle exchange,” a local nurse told the Louisville Courier-Journal in 2016. “We know that we have pretty much stopped the spread of HIV. … We know it’s helped get people into rehab; we’ve linked them to . … I know it’s working because I see it every day.”
Critics of Pence’s approach told Politico that what policy he did finally allow nonetheless hamstrung those Indiana counties beyond Scott County that wanted to use successful needle-exchange programs to slow the spread of HIV and hepatitis C.
Pence’s then-health commissioner cast the issue another way, according to the Times.
“The governor wanted to make sure if we went this route it was absolutely necessary,” Dr. Jerome Adams said in 2016. “I believe he was praying on it up until the final decision.”
On Wednesday at the White House, after Trump named him the point person on the coronavirus response, Pence mentioned his time as governor when a person there became the first in the U.S. diagnosed with the MERS virus.
Earlier in the press conference, Trump spoke optimistically about the government’s response to the coronavirus so far. But he continued to use rosier language than the health officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who said this week that Americans should prepare for more coronavirus cases here.
So far, some 81,000 cases have been reported worldwide of the coronavirus. Of those cases, about 2,700 people have died (By comparison, the Ebola epidemic that began in West Africa in 2014 infected about 28,600 people and killed about 11,300, according to the CDC.)
The infection is thought to have originated in a Chinese animal market in December.
“I look forward, Mr. President, to serving in this role and bringing together all the members of the coronavirus task force you established,” Pence said Wednesday.
He added: “We will continue to bring the full resources of the federal government in coordination with our state and local partners to see to the health and wellbeing and to the effective response to the coronavirus here in the United States of America.”
A few weeks ago some pretty shocking phone calls were leaked, private conversations in which Amber Heardadmitted to committing acts of domestic violence against Johnny Depp — and later taunting him about his inability to tell the world because no one would believe a petite woman like her was hurting him so much.
As evidence goes in the ongoing he said/she said battle between the exes, it was all very damning for Amber.
However, as much as many fans of the Edward Scissorhands star have made it known they want them to, the phone transcripts weren’t perfectly exculpatory for Johnny either.
It sounded to us like he admitted to getting violent in response, which is also not OK at all.
Well now more phone evidence has become public — text messages which may poke holes in Johnny’s version of events, or at the very least provide a window into his state of mind at the time.
The texts come as a result of Johnny’s lawsuit against UK newspaper The Sun and executive editor Dan Wootton over an April 2018 op-ed with the headline:
“GONE POTTY: How can JK Rowling be ‘genuinely happy’ casting wife-beater Johnny Depp in the new Fantastic Beasts film?”
Depp is suing for libel, saying the tabloid was telling its readers he was “guilty, on overwhelming evidence, of serious domestic violence against his then wife, causing significant injury and leading to her fearing for her life, for which the claimant was constrained to pay no less than £5 million to compensate her, and which resulted in him being subjected to a continuing court restraining order; and for that reason is not fit to work in the film industry.” Johnny has always vehemently denied Amber’s accusations of abuse (and is also suing her for her own op-ed in the Washington Post).
Johnny even showed up to court on Wednesday only to find the lawyers for the defense had a secret weapon — 70,000 text messages which were “accidentally” disclosed to them by Depp’s former attorneys, the ones he fired.
Damn. Do not make enemies of your lawyers, y’all.
The defense’s legal strategy seems to be to prove what they wrote wasn’t libel because it was true; they showed the court a few of those messages in which, in their estimate, Johnny made reference to violence toward his then girlfriend.
According to DailyMail.com, the earliest message presented was from March 2013 when Johnny texted Amber and referenced an incident they believe is the same one in which she previously said they had a fight over a painting — and that he assaulted her.
In the message, Johnny describes it as a “horrendous moment” and more colorfully as a “disco bloodbath.” But he never specifically refers to what happened in any detail.
Then there were a couple messages to friend Paul Bettany, with whom Johnny co-starred in the universally panned comedy Mortdecai.

Warning: Disturbing Content Ahead
In November 2013, Johnny allegedly wrote:
“Let’s burn Amber”
and then:
“Let’s drown her before we burn her!!! I will f**k her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she is dead.”
Whoa.
Disturbing AF, though we have to note we have no idea in what context these messages were sent. It seems a stretch to say these reflect an actual incident, but they do show a sick state of mind. Regardless, legally speaking, we’re not sure they prove what The Sun is going for here.
Anyway, that wasn’t the only message. In another one to Bettany, in May of 2014, they claim Depp wrote:
“I’m gonna properly stop the booze thing darling … Drank all night before I picked Amber up to fly to LA, this past Sunday… Ugly, mate… No food for days… Powders… Half a bottle of whiskey, a thousand red bull and vodkas, pills, two bottles of champers on plane and what do you get…??? An angry, aggro Injun in a f**kin’ blackout, screaming obscenities and insulting any f**k who got near… I’m done… I am admittedly too f**ked in the head to spray my rage at the one I love… for little reason, as well I’m too old to be that guy. But, pills are fine!!!”
The defense argues the flight Johnny is describing is the same one which Amber spoke about in her own legal filings last year.
Amber said Johnny was jealous of James Franco while she was shooting the film The Adderall Diaries, and got deranged and violent with her on the plane:
“On the flight, Johnny ordered the flight attendants to give him an oxygen tank, and drank heavily. Johnny’s handlers told me that he was upset that I was filming a movie with a romantic scene with James Franco the day before. Soon, Johnny began to throw objects at me. Instead of reacting to his behavior, I simply moved seats. That didn’t stop him. He provocatively pushed a chair at me as I walked by, yelled at me, and taunted me by yelling out the name ‘James Franco’… At some point, I stood up, and Johnny kicked me in the back, causing me to fall over. Johnny threw his boot at me while I was on the ground. Johnny continued to scream obscenities until he went into the plane bathroom and passed out locked in the bathroom for the remainder of the flight.”
The description here definitely sound like he’s admitting to being drunk as hell but not to what Amber alleges — and not necessarily to abuse at all. In fact he says he wasn’t directing his rage “at the one I love.”

But the defense tried to use his words to show he was lying about his version of those same events. As barrister Adam Wolanski QC said:
“His version of events is that he was quietly sketching during the flight.”
The defense added one more set of text messages, not from Johnny himself but from his nurse during a “detox trip” in the Bahamas in 2014. She said Johnny had gotten “manic” and was “full on – flipping out”; she described him as “angry with everyone but mostly himself.”
That sounds like detox alright…
Wait, messages from a nurse? Are we sure this doesn’t violate patient privilege?
Johnny’s own lawyer, David Sherborne, responded by saying
“Nowhere, I repeat, nowhere, is there a single smoking gun, text or email, no document – unlike Ms Heard’s own taped confession we looked at before – there is no document where Mr Depp says ‘I hit Ms Heard’ let alone ‘I hit her on numerous occasions.'”
Sherborne attested his client “simply never did it so they are not going to find it.” He continued:
“The idea that somehow these texts contradict the account (given by Mr Depp) and are therefore so critical to the defendants’ case just simply isn’t made out.”
We don’t want to take sides here, but based on what we’ve read here we have to agree. If these are the most damning messages they found in a stockpile of 70k texts, The Sun might have a hard time proving their case.

At some point in our lives, most of us seem to have decided that poetry is too precious for us. That it requires sitting quietly, alone in a silent room, to really appreciate or understand. That if we didn't get a PhD in literature, poems don't have a place in our lives. But poetry shouldn't be extraordinary. It should be ordinary. I don't mean that poems themselves should be basic or boring; I mean that poetry can and should play a role in our boring, daily, typical, and often totally mundane lives.
This year, I decided I wanted to find a way to read poems every single day, and I did. What I didn't do is start waking up before dawn each day to read Emily Dickinson's collected works for an hour. I knew I'd never follow through on something like that. Instead, I just found sneaky ways to make poetry part of my existing routines: scrolling on social media, listening to podcasts on my commute, and checking my email.
At the risk of sounding dramatic, this daily poetry habit has made my life better, deeper, and more rewarding. And I think it has the potential to do that for other people - whether or not they consider themselves a reader with a capital R. This is definitely not what dreams are made of! Disney+'s upcoming Lizzie McGuire reboot halted production in January, and it looks like things are still being figured out. "Fans have a sentimental attachment to Lizzie McGuire and high expectations for a new series," a Disney spokesperson told the publication. "After filming two episodes, we concluded that we need to move in a different creative direction and are putting a new lens on the show." As a result, the show's original creator Terri Minsky has stepped down as showrunner.
Hilary Duff recently seemed to address the halt when she posted a screenshot on her Instagram Stories of a news headline that revealed that Disney+'s Love, Simon series (now titled Love, Victor) moved to Hulu because it wasn't "family-friendly" enough for the brand. In her post, Duff circled the words "family-friendly," writing, "Sounds familiar."
So, what exactly does this mean for the fate of the series? While production has been placed on hiatus as the show looks for a new showrunner, it doesn't entirely mean the show has been canceled. However, it could delay the release date quite a bit. Filming first kicked off in November 2019, and Disney+ recently teased the show's release in a video that featured their upcoming 2020 titles.
As previously revealed, the reboot will "revolve around Lizzie as a 30-year-old millennial navigating life in New York City." In addition to Duff, the McGuire family - Jake Thomas, Hallie Todd, and Robert Carradine - will also be reprising their roles along with Adam Lamberg as Lizzie's childhood best friend Gordo. Here's hoping we'll be reunited with Lizzie and the rest of the gang soon enough!
