A Timeline of Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton's Low-Key Romance
Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are one of our favorite low-key couples. The pair, whose engagement was confirmed in March 2022, are also parents to a toddler they welcomed last year.
Back in July, Hiddleston and Ashton made a rare public appearance at the Wimbledon men's final, where they happened to sit in front of Ariana Grande and Andrew Garfield. Shortly after, Ashton explained to Entertainment Weekly that Hiddleston gave her great advice when it came to joining him in the MCU. Ashton stars in this November's "The Marvels," and Hiddleston, of course, has appeared in the Marvel films for years as Loki.
"It led to some incredible conversations about his experience being part of this franchise for over a decade," Ashton told EW about joining the franchise with Hiddleston. She said that he gave her practical advice, like making sure her costume has "enough zippers to go to the bathroom." Ashton explained, "One of the main takeaways from our conversations was, 'What you put into Marvel, you get back.' He said, 'If you go into this with an open heart and a great work ethic and just want to provide an amazing experience for the fans, you'll have an amazing experience on those sets.' He really empowered me in that way."
Ashton and Hiddleston met in 2019 while starring on the West End together and quickly sparked dating rumors. But rather than be loud about their relationship, the two very private people have mostly kept the details of their romance to themselves. Hiddleston, who famously dated Taylor Swift in 2016, made a U-turn on sharing his personal life after that experience. He told the Telegraph in 2017 that he wanted to keep his private life just that - private.
"Everyone is entitled to a private life," he shared, adding, "I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment, and in my mind I don't conflict the two. My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are separate."

Travis Barker's Family Has Grown Again: Meet His 4 Kids
If we've learned anything about Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker over the years, it's that he loves tattoos and his kids. With their rock-star dad in the spotlight for much of their childhood, Travis's older kids, Landon and Alabama, and their stepsister, Atiana, haven't had the most conventional upbringing. And this month, Travis and wife Kourtney Kardashian Barker welcomed their first child together, expanding the family ever more.
For his part, Travis has made it known since the beginning that his family is his number-one priority. The musician even bought a home near their school when he and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler were separating, so the kids would have a home base. "I bought a home that's very close to my children's school, so when she's with the kids, she's there; when I'm with the kids, I'm there. There's no making them travel back and forth to different houses," he explained to People back in 2017.
Whether he's opening up about his love for his children on Twitter, saying, "I love being a Dad more than anything, best thing to have ever happened in my entire life," posting sappy throwback photos on Instagram, or enjoying a nice family vacation, Travis is all about dad life - which is probably even busier now with the additions of stepchildren Mason, Penelope, and Reign, Kardashian Barker's kids from her relationship with Scott Disick. Certainly, things are even busier now with their new baby.
On top of that, we can't help but admire Travis's older kids' close bond, both as siblings and with their dad. During Travis's sudden hospitalization in the summer of 2022, his daughter Alabama was right by his side to support him, asking fans via her Instagram Story to send prayers, per Us Weekly. Atiana also thanked fans via her Instagram Story for their "outpouring of love and prayers sent our way," adding, "It is heard, felt, and appreciated."
