Megan Thee Stallion Is a Whole October Mood in New Instagram Post

If Mariah Carey is the Queen of Christmas, Megan Thee Stallion is the mayor of Halloween town. On Oct. 1, the "Hot Girl Summer" rapper welcomed in spooky season by popping a jack-o'-lantern on her head for an impromptu photo shoot. Megan shared a carousel of four jack-o'-lantern photos on her grid, and the pics are a whole October mood.

The rapper's first photo features her sipping what appears to be a mimosa (or some other orange juice cocktail/mocktail) while sitting on her couch in her pajamas and reading a book on Scandi rustic style. The cozy vibes emanating from the pic are truly next level. In the next two snaps, Megan seemingly welcomes spooky season into her home as she poses at the front door before ultimately settling back on her couch again. (Her location for the photos? Halloween town.)

Megan's love for all things Halloween is nothing new. She first posed with a jack-o'-lantern on her head in October 2021. In a since-deleted Instagram post, the "Sweetest Pie" singer wore an all-black outfit, a pumpkin on her head, and her "hot girl" necklace to ring in the spookiest month. But where last year's photos were all about the glam, this year, Megan is leaning into the cozy side of fall - which plenty of her fans will surely relate to.

As amazing as her jack-o'-lantern photo shoot is, her Instagram post is likely just the start of Megan's Halloween 2022 content. Last year, she managed to squeeze in 10 Halloween-themed manicures before the month ended, and she put together a stunning fairy costume. Get ready, everyone, because "Hot Girl Halloween" is just getting started.

Beyoncé and Tina Knowles-Lawson Celebrate Solange Knowles at the New York City Ballet

On Sept. 29, Solange Knowles made history as the second Black female composer in the history of the New York City Ballet, and her big sister, Beyoncé, and mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, were there to cheer her on. Knowles was asked to create an original score to accompany choreographer Gianna Reisen's "Play Time" for the 10th Fall Fashion Gala at Lincoln Center, and the artist more than delivered. Her high-profile collaboration with the New York City Ballet company was a highlight of the evening - and a dream come true for Knowles.

No one understood how important the night was to the "Way to the Show" singer more than her family. That's why Beyoncé and Knowles-Lawson reportedly slipped into the front row just as the show was about to begin, according to The Cut. From there, Queen Bey and Knowles-Lawson proceeded to snap photos and video of the performance as Knowles watched her score come to life.

Proud mom Knowles-Lawson later shared photos from the event on Instagram as well as an emotional tribute to her youngest daughter. "Two nights ago me and Beyonce flew to New York for a very special night," Knowles-Lawson captioned photos from the evening. "Our baby Solange Piaget Knowles killed it at the New York ballet you see she composed a beautiful piece of Music for the Ballet ! Yes and it was breathtaking, the costumes were the most beautiful I've ever seen and and the dancers and choreography incredible !!! The collaboration between the four people was nothing short of brilliant. Every aspect, the best it could be!"

She continued, "Beyonce and me and a host of friends screamed our heads off with crazy amounts of pride. Solange continues to kick down doors and make space for women of color in places that we have never been!!! The audacity to feel that you belong in any and every place that exist if we so desire! To have done the hard work and have the talent and tenacity and drive you can do anything! Hi hat has always been her belief system ! Yes and it inspires women of color to occupy those spaces unapologeticly [sic] !! I love you my pumpkin."

Knowles-Lawson went on to share several photos from the afterparty, including shots of herself, Knowles, and Beyoncé embracing after the show. For her part, Knowles kept her message of gratitude simple: "🖤heart so fulll🖤," she captioned a collection of photos from her history-making evening on Instagram.
