Superstar Sisters Zooey and Emily Deschanel Also Have Famous Parents
Emily Deschanel and her sister, Zooey Deschanel, have been gracing our screens for years, but did you know that success in Hollywood has been in the family for generations?
The Deschanels' parents were both established in the entertainment industry long before the birth of their daughters. Their father, Caleb Deschanel, is an Oscar-nominated cinematographer. He was first nominated for an Academy Award in cinematography in 1983 for the film "The Right Stuff," followed by "The Natural" in 1984 and "Fly Away Home" in 1996. Additionally, 2000's "The Patriot," 2004's "The Passion of Christ," and 2018's "Never Look Away" all netted him nominations. He is also a member of the National Film Preservation Board of the Library of Congress.
Their mother, Mary Jo Deschanel, is an actor. She is perhaps best known for playing recurring character Eileen Hayward in "Twin Peaks." She went on to appear in the movie "The Patriot" and had roles in "Law and Order: Trial by Jury" and "Ruby Sparks," and portrayed Hayward again in "Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces" in 2014.
Emily, the pair's oldest child, was born in 1976. Her first role was in 1994's "It Could Happen to You," and her big break came through her role as Temperance Brennan on "Bones." Zooey was born in 1980, and her career began with the TV show "Veronica's Closet," which aired in 1998. She went on to appear in major features like "Elf" and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," and she also launched a musical duo, She & Him, in 2008.
The siblings apparently had a tense relationship growing up. "I would tell her . . . that I'd [hurt] her sister and taken over her body, and that I was going to kill her next," Emily revealed in a 2012 interview with Conan O'Brien. Fortunately, she said that the siblings now "get along now very well."
The pair also grew closer when they both had babies within two months of each other in 2015, with Zooey telling Jimmy Kimmel that it was "amazing" and they "couldn't have planned it better," per Broadway World. Zooey shares two kids, Elsie Otter and Charlie Wolf, with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik. Emily also has two children, Henry and Calvin, with her husband David Hornsby.
Ahead, check out some photos of the family.

Chace Crawford's Dating History, From Carrie Underwood to Rebecca Rittenhouse
People have been curious about Chace Crawford's love life since his early "Gossip Girl" days. The 38-year-old actor, who currently stars as The Deep on "The Boys," has had only had three confirmed relationships - although there have been plenty of rumored romances, including relationships with "Dancing With the Stars"'s Erin Andrews and "Twilight"'s Ashley Greene. Gossip has also swirled about possible hookups with everyone from "Gossip Girl's" Taylor Momsen to Lauren Conrad, although those are most likely just rumors.
While his relationships with Blake Lively's Serena and Leighton Meester's Blair on "Gossip Girl" were deeply chaotic and dramatic, Crawford's personal love life seems much more laid-back. The actor, who grew up in Texas and made his film debut in the 2006 supernatural drama "The Covenant," was cast as Nate Archibald in "Gossip Girl" in March 2007 and quickly become one of TV's most desirable bachelors.
As for whether or not he's currently single, Crawford told Us Weekly in 2019, "I've been dating around a little bit, but, you know, nothing serious." In 2022, he confirmed he was still on the market, telling Bustle that "LA's a tough [dating pool]." Keep reading for a quick recap of Crawford's dating history over the years.

All the Kings and Queens of Westeros That Came Before and After Aegon II
Watch out! This post contains spoilers.
The history of Westeros, the setting of the "Game of Thrones" universe, is a sprawling one, filled with great battles, great houses, and great (and, well, not so great) rulers. Between "Game of Thrones" and the prequel series, "House of the Dragon," we've seen several kings and queens rise and fall at different points in Westeros's history. As readers of George R.R. Martin's novels know, however, that's just a small sliver of the rich history that the author has created for his fantasy world.
Season one of "House of the Dragon" dug even deeper into the history of House Targaryen (the royal house that rules through most of Westeros's revealed history). Whether you're rewatching the prequel to prepare for season two (though it'll be a while before it arrives), gearing up for the Jon Snow spinoff, or diving into the "Game of Thrones" universe for the first time, there's never a bad time for a primer on every ruler we've met so far. From the kings we know very well (like Robert and Joffrey Baratheon) to those you might not be familiar with unless you've read all the extra books and bonus materials (like Aerys II "the Mad King" Targaryen, who only appeared in "Game of Thrones" for a split second), many stories are left to be told.
For the purposes of this history, we're combining both the background from the books' universe and the one from the TV show; in the cases where the TV world goes further than the books have, we're following the onscreen timeline to its conclusion.
If you're ready for spoilers on all the rulers of Westeros, keep reading for a complete primer on everyone who has sat on the Iron Throne so far.

Gordon Ramsay Is a "Softie" When It Comes to His 5 Kids - Meet Them All
If you love binge-watching "Hell's Kitchen," you know there's no one who can whip a kitchen into shape quite like Gordon Ramsay. While some of us can say we've also seen every single episode of "Kitchen Nightmares," others may not know how much of a family man Chef Ramsay really is. But according to him, he's a "softie" when it comes to his five children with wife Tana Ramsay.
After the couple married in 1996, they went on to start their family, which they always intended to be big, Ramsay told People in September. The chef also reflected on his experience with fatherhood and shared of his kids, "My job as a dad is to come up with a solution to their problems. That's the most important role of a dad." Though he also admitted, "That's f*cking hard with five kids, five problems, 25 a week, a hundred a month - that's a lot of solution fixing."
While Ramsay certainly has a reputation for being hard on budding cooks and restaurateurs (and not to mention having a foul mouth), he's said that he's really a big mush at heart as far as his kids are concerned. Even his wife, Tana, told People that he's "incredibly sensitive" - as she put it, "he's a crier."
Keep reading ahead to learn more about Chef Ramsay's five kids and see their sweetest family photos.

20+ Photos of Madonna and Her Kids That Are Too Cute
Madonna has one beautiful family! The 65-year-old pop music icon is the proud mom of six children - Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 23, David, 18, Mercy, 17, and 11-year-old twins Estere and Stelle - and we just love seeing them together. Whether they're hitting the red carpet together, being silly on social media, or having a sibling moment at Fashion Week, it's clear the bond between Madonna's brood is unbreakable.
In November 2022, Madonna spent time with all her children for Thanksgiving, sharing a since-deleted Instagram photo series of them captioned, "What I'm thankful for............. 💛."
Back in 2017, Madonna opened up to People about the rigorous process of adopting David, Mercy, Estere, and Stelle. "Because I'm a public figure, people don't want to be perceived as giving me any kind of special treatment," she explained, "so I get the hard road." The singer added, "It's complicated, but it's so worth it."
As for Madonna's daughter Lourdes, the model-turned-singer recently embarked on her solo music journey. She released her debut single, "Lock&Key," under the moniker Lolahol in August 2022 and followed up with her "Love Me Still" song the next month. Lourdes previously opened up to Billboard about her career aspirations, saying she doesn't have a "specific" goal in mind. "I think it's about finding a role that wouldn't be too far off from who I am already," she said. "Honestly, actors really annoy me and I can't be around them. As for music, I can sing. I just don't care about it. Maybe it's too close to home." But it seems she's since had a change of heart, as she's seemingly following in her mom's footsteps.
Madonna's children know how to support her during difficult times. After a health scare back in June, the singer updated fans on her status in a touching Instagram post dedicated to her kids and loved ones. She wrote, in part: "As a Mother you can really get caught up In the needs Of your children and the seemingly endless giving........... But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference."
Take a look at Madonna's kids ahead and see some of their sweetest family moments.

These Steamy Horror Movies on Netflix Are Sure to Deliver Chills and Thrills
"Sexy" and "horror" may be a bit of an unexpected pairing, but there are more sexy horror movies out there than you may think. And actually, seduction and horror have been partners on the screen for a long time. Horror movies have a reputation for using sexuality and sexual experience to label some people as worthy of saving and others as the worthy victims of whatever supernatural entity or vindictive slasher might be on the loose. It's part of where the term "final girl" comes from - the "final girls" almost always turns down the sex, drugs, and alcohol that her friends partake in, and that's an element of what saves her at the end of the movie.
But in recent decades, lots of movies have spun the idea of the "final girl" on its head, including the tongue-in-cheek Scream franchise and the porn-themed "X." And other movies, like "Cam" and "It Follows," have embraced sex and sensuality wholeheartedly as key pieces of their plot - no moralizing required.
Sexy movies and horror flicks both get your heart rate going, so it only makes sense that combining the two elements makes for an erotically thrilling film. We've rounded up the sexiest horror movies streaming on Netflix right now, and believe us when we say watching any of these flicks will have you grabbing for your date's hand (but whether it's out of fright or frisson is up to you).

Jessica Chastain and Jeremy Strong's Dance Party Is a Glimpse Into Their Decades-Long Friendship
Well, looks like another invite got lost in the mail! Jessica Chastain and Jeremy Strong had a late-night dance party in a video shared to Instagram on Sept. 23. In the clip, which offered a glimpse into their longtime friendship, the two actors wore sunglasses and danced around their hotel room as Madonna's "Hung Up" played in the background. Strong also seemed to be responsible for lighting, stepping on the hotel lamp to the beat of the music before disappearing behind a curtain. "This is what happens when you let Jeremy Strong and I stay up past our bedtimes #4AM," Chastain wrote.
Unsurprisingly, this isn't the first time Chastain and Strong have partied together. In fact, their impromptu hotel music video is actually just a small part of a friendship that spans more than 20 years. In that time, the actors have worked together on three films, including "Zero Dark Thirty," "Molly's Game," and "Armageddon Time."
Chastain also came to Strong's defense in 2021 after a controversial New Yorker interview detailing his method acting. "I've known Jeremy Strong for 20 yrs & worked with him on 2 films. He's a lovely person. Very inspiring & passionate about his work. The profile that came out on him was incredibly one sided," she wrote on X.
Chastain and Strong showed off their moves earlier in the night at an afterparty for Gucci's spring fashion show at Milan Fashion Week. Once again dancing to Madonna, they jumped around to "Like a Prayer" with celebrities like Julia Garner and Paul Mescal, as shown in a video. Below, see how they kept the party going well past their bedtimes, as only true friends can.

From Artists to Athletes, Kendall Jenner's Dating History Is Star-Studded
Out of all of the Kardashian-Jenner relationships, Kendall Jenner's dating life might just be the most interesting to look at. The model has been romantically linked to a number of pro athletes in the basketball world, including her former boyfriend Devin Booker, and now her latest rumored beau is none other than Bad Bunny.
As with most of her relationships, Jenner largely kept her once-blooming romance with Booker relatively private. "A relationship is only meant to be between two people, and the second you make it the world's business is when it starts messing with the two people mentally," Jenner told Vogue Australia in May 2019. "Like once everyone is let in, you're letting all these opinions into your relationships, and I don't think that's fair."
It seems Jenner is treating her romance with Bad Bunny the same way, as she has yet to confirm or deny a relationship with him. However, that hasn't stopped the two from making many public outings together amid rampant rumors.
While the reality star holds her cards close, she isn't afraid to bite back at those who seemingly think they know everything about her dating life. Back in July 2019, Jenner quickly shut down rumors that she had dated NBA players D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and Kyle Kuzma after someone tweeted a photo captioned, "Starting 5 of NBA Players Kendall Jenner Dated." She shot back: "2 out of 5 accurate, thanks."
Orlando Bloom and Lewis Hamilton have also been rumored partners of Jenner's. However, both men have denied all speculations, chalking it up to hearsay. "Me and Kendall have been friends for a while, so we're just friends," Hamilton told E! News back in 2015. That same year, Bloom addressed and denied their alleged connection, telling People, "I don't know Kendall Jenner, but if anyone has her number I would love it."
Despite the dozens of rumors that have circulated over the years, Jenner has only been in a handful of serious public relationships. Learn more about her dating history ahead.

9 Ladies Who Have Reportedly Scored Zac Efron's Heart
Over the years, our crush on Zac Efron has only intensified. With his hunky appearances in movies like "Neighbors 2" and "Baywatch," the actor has certainly come a long way since his adolescent days on Disney Channel. In addition to making us swoon, he has also gained the company of a few women. He's previously dated Vanessa Hudgens, Lily Collins, and Sami Miró.
Efron was last linked to Australian model Vanessa Vallardes in 2020. However, after 10 months of dating, the two reportedly called it quits, per Elle. Australian radio host Kyle Sandilands later confirmed the split. "They've gone their separate ways. [There was] no drama. It's done," he said. "He's back to work. They had spent a lot of time with each other when he wasn't working, you know, lunching and living in the mansions on the beach; it's a fabulous life. Then work comes back and kicks you straight back into reality. So it's a shame but it's not a rumor. It's for sure true."
Efron doesn't appear to be dating anyone at the moment, but if he is, we probably wouldn't know, given how private he is about his personal life. If you just can't get enough of Efron, then check out all the lucky ladies who have dated him.

What We Know About Sofia Richie's Relationship With Her Parents
Sofia Richie is a model, fashion designer, and social media personality. Her success in the fashion world should come as no surprise, considering both her mother, Diane Alexander, and sister, Nicole Richie, are fashion designers. While Sofia may have always been destined for success in the industry, it took her a while to find her calling due to the pressure of being Lionel Richie's daughter.
"I spent a lot of time just trying to find my place in the world," she told Town & Country on Aug. 15. "I think everyone wants to be like their parents when they're growing up, and I admired my dad so much, and that drove me down a music path for a moment. But it didn't feel right for me."
Sofia also said she tried dabbling in acting but quickly realized it wasn't meant for her, either. "I didn't have the experience, and I didn't want to be one of those kid celebrities that got the role because my dad is who he is," she said.
In the end, Sofia decided to "just be [herself]" and find a career that she naturally gravitated toward, which led her to fashion.
While Sofia may not have pursued music like her dad, Lionel is equally proud of Sofia for finding her own passion. If you want to know more about Sofia's relationship with her musician father, as well as her fashionista mother, scroll through the slideshow for all of the details about her famous parents.

What to Know About Jada Pinkett Smith and Tupac Shakur's "Precious" Friendship
Jada Pinkett Smith and the late Tupac Shakur's were-they-weren't-they relationship is one that still intrigues fans nearly three decades after his tragic death. On Sept. 20, a week after the 27th anniversary of the rapper's death, Pinkett Smith took a trip down memory lane and posted an old clip of the two on Instagram ironically rapping along to her now-husband Will Smith's classic '80s hit "Parents Just Don't Understand."
"Not in a million years would I have dreamed that the Fresh Prince and I would become, um, very acquainted," she captioned the video, referring to her husband's rap name. "Not in a million years did I imagine three lives, their fates, would be so intertwined. And… I never would have imagined that this video would become a tangible memory, of the last time Pac and I, were simply kids together. Pac and I lip syncing Parents Just Don't Understand by Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince during our Junior year in high school. Who would have thought?"
Pinkett Smith once recalled how she and Shakur first met at Maryland's Baltimore School for the Arts, saying, "It was the first day and he came over to me and introduced himself." She continued, "And in high school, Pac was a little funny looking. Definitely from looking at him, wasn't necessarily the type of cat that I would even, like, deal with."
According to the former "Red Table Talk" host, Shakur was "like a magnet" and quickly became one of her close friends. "He was like a brother," she confessed. The actor, 52, reiterated those statements in an interview with Howard Stern, sharing how she even once tried to kiss the "Hail Mary" rapper, but discovered they were better off as just BFFs.
"You know, it's so funny because now being older, I have more of an understanding of what that was between us. When you have two young people that have very strong feelings, but there was no physical chemistry between us at all, and it wasn't even just for me - it was him too," she clarified. "There was a time when I was like, 'Just kiss me! Let's just see how this goes,' and when I tell you it had to be the most disgusting kiss for us both."
Pinkett Smith told Stern she believed their awkward kiss was a sign from a "higher power" because "we might have killed each other because we were both so passionate and we love deeply."
Unfortunately, according to Pinkett Smith, the pair's friendship took a turn for the worse toward the end of Shakur's life. "He felt as though I had changed," she said. "I'd gone Hollywood. I'd gone soft. And looking back now, I totally understand where Pac was at the time. It was a mentality he started to come out of before he was murdered."
Pinkett Smith said she felt Shakur was going in "a destructive direction", which eventually led to them having a "hardcore" argument over their different lifestyles. The high school friends were not in contact before his untimely death on Sept. 13, 1996. "It definitely taught me a lesson, which is life is too short," she told Stern. "Do not let disagreements stand in between you and people that you love."
Pinkett Smith and Shakur's relationship was portrayed in the 2017 film "All Eyez On Me," with "Vampire Diaries" actor Kat Graham playing the former. Shortly after the release, Pinkett Smith spoke out about the events she felt were misrepresented in the movie, writing on X (formerly Twitter), "Forgive me ... my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth. . . . The reimagining of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful."
The "Scream 2" actor pointedly took issue with the film's portrayal of the poems Shakur wrote for her, which Pinkett Smith says she never knew existed until she read his 1999 poetry book, "The Rose That Grew From Concrete." She ended her series of tweets by stating that her late friend will be "cradled in [her] heart for eternity."

Is Keanu Reeves in "The Continental"? Here's the Story
It's hard to imagine a show or movie in the John Wick universe without John Wick, but that's exactly what "The Continental" is. The new three-part Peacock series is technically a prequel to the John Wick films, but it's entirely centered on Winston Scott, played in the original movies by Ian McShane. "The Continental" stars Colin Woodell as Winston and explores his origin story, tracing how he came to run a hotel that provides sanctuary for off-duty assassins and other criminals.
Based on the timeline alone, it's technically impossible Reeves could appear as John Wick in "The Continental," since his character is a child in the 1970s. As fun as it would be to see Reeves play a teenager, the 59-year-old actor has passed that threshold at this point.
It's also unlikely we'll see a young version of John in the show. Thanks to the comics and "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum," we also know Reeves's character was born in a village in the Soviet Union and spent parts of his youth in El Sauzal, Mexico, per Looper. Wick is about 35 in the first movie, which came out in 2014 and takes place in the present day, so him appearing in New York City in the 1970s is not likely.
While there aren't too many familiar faces in "The Continental," viewers will recognize the central hotel itself, which appears in the John Wick movies. There's no actual Continental Hotel in New York City, but according to production designers Dan Leigh and Nicholas Bernstein, per NBC, the fictional hotel is located at 1 Wall Street in Manhattan. The facade used in the movies is actually the Cocoa Exchange building, which is located at the real-world 1 Wall Street.
The most recent John Wick movie starring Reeves, "John Wick: Chapter 4," premiered on March 24. Up next, the franchise's first spinoff, "Ballerina," will see Reeves appear alongside Ana de Armas, who plays a ballerina determined to kill the people who murdered her family. The film is set for a 2024 release.
"The Continental" premieres on Peacock on Sept. 22.

All About Fergie and Josh Duhamel's 10-Year-Old Son, Axl
Former Black Eyed Peas star Fergie and her son, Axl Duhamel, are two peas in a pod. Fergie shares Axl with her ex-husband, Josh Duhamel, whom she split from in 2017. Since then, the two have been successfully coparenting their child, and Axl has been Fergie's go-to date for nights out and red carpet appearances.
Duhamel - who announced he is expecting his first child with wife Audra Mari on Sept. 11 - opened up about his an Fergie's coparenting relationship in an appearance on "The Jess Cagle Show" several days later. "Thankfully Fergie's an amazing woman, she really is," he said. "She's taken Audra in. It could be much worse." He went on to praise Fergie's willingness to blend their families. "That's the thing, you never know how these things are going to go. But because she's such a kind-hearted person, she really, truly is, she only has love for Audra," he added. "I can't believe how excited she is for us. It could be a lot worse. I've seen it. I've lived it. And thankfully we have a really civil situation."
Duhamel originally revealed the news about Mari's pregnancy in an Instagram post, and Fergie immediately showed her support. "I am truly happy for you guys🥰🥰," she wrote in the comments. "Axl can't wait to be a big brother."
Axl is named after Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses, and in a 2013 interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Fergie explained that the name came to her in a dream she had while pregnant. "I had this dream and I was in the audience at this festival. It was outdoors and it was all grimy and nobody knew who I was," she said. "On stage singing was Jim Morrison and then came Bob Marley and then Axl Rose. I was in heaven in this dream and I'm dancing and just getting into the music. It was really beautiful . . . and I woke Josh [Duhamel] up and I said, 'Honey, honey, honey, he kicked me. He finally kicked me.'"
Axl seems to be just as stylish and adventurous as his famous parents, which you can see on their Instagrams. Ahead, check out some of the cutest photos Fergie and Josh have shared of their little man and get to know him better.
