Princess Charlotte Wishes England's Women's Soccer Team Good Luck With Help From Her Dad
Win or lose, England's women's soccer team, the Lionesses, will have the royal family cheering them on as they face off against Germany in the Euro 2020 final match. In a video posted to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's official Instagram account on Sunday, Princess Charlotte, 7, wished the team good luck on their highly anticipated match - with a little help from her dad, Prince William.
"We both wanted to wish the Lionesses the best of luck tonight," the Duke of Cambridge said in the sweet clip. "You've done amazingly well in the competition, and we're rooting for you all the way." At that point, Charlotte, who appears to be sitting on her dad's lap, chimes in with her support as well. "Good luck! I hope you win. Bye!" the little princess said while giving the camera a wave.
The caption on the post doubled down on the good wishes. It reads, "Good luck tonight @Lionesses, we're all cheering for you!"
It's not surprising that William and Charlotte shared a special message to the Lionesses given just how passionate all of the Cambridges are about soccer. For his part, William is president of the Football Association and often attends the games with Kate Middleton and their eldest son, Prince George, 9. But Charlotte may be the most passionate soccer fan in the family.
Back in June, the Duke of Cambridge attended one of the Lionesses's training sessions where he was gifted with jerseys for George, Charlotte, and his youngest child, Prince Louis, 4. After touring the facilities and watching the team in action, William passed on a message from his soccer-loving daughter. "Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goal," William said, according to Hello! Magazine. "She said, 'Please tell them that.' She's a budding star for the future."
So while she may have kept her video message to the team short and sweet, it sounds like Charlotte may be cheering the Lionesses on even louder than the rest of the Cambridges.

"Stranger Things" Star Joseph Quinn Meets Metallica, Making Eddie Munson's Dream a Reality
Eddie Munson may have sacrificed himself to save his friends, but he's still getting a chance to live out his dreams via Joseph Quinn. Just days after Metallica posted a video tribute to "Stranger Things" favorite (and Metallica superfan) Eddie on Instagram, the band invited Quinn to jam with them, gifted the actor with a guitar much like the one his character played on the show, and even projected Eddie's now famous "Master of Puppets" scene on the stage behind them during the band's Thursday night performance at Lollapalooza.
For his part, Quinn was ecstatic to officially meet the band whose music he lived and breathed for two years. "It's all I was listening to for two years," Quinn said in a video of the meeting shared by Netflix. "I feel very connected to you guys."
Quinn's admiration for Metallica is matched only by the band's adoration of the "Stranger Things" star who has helped bring their music to a whole new generation. After they played "Master of Puppets" together, the band members let the actor know he's welcome to jam with them anytime. Lead guitarist Kirk Hammett told Quinn, "You're hired." Meanwhile, the metal band's drummer, Lars Ulrich, joked, "We'd like to make an announcement. Metallica is now a five-piece."
While the rising star might be a little bit too busy to join Metallica on the road, Quinn walked away from his meeting with the band with a special souvenir. Not only did the rock stars gift him with a guitar just like Eddie's, they signed it for him as well. The band shared a photo of themselves with Quinn and his guitar on Instagram captioned, "We call to order the most metal meeting ever of The Hellfire Club." Somewhere out there in the Upside Down, Eddie is definitely smiling.
Just like Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill," "Master of Puppets" has received a huge streaming boost post-"Stranger Things," with streams shooting up by 650% on the Billboard charts, per Variety. On July 8, the band shared a TikTok of themselves playing alongside "Master of Puppets" in the scene it appears in on the show. "Eddie, this is for you!" reads the video's caption. In a comment on the video, the band criticized longtime fans for gatekeeping the song, writing, "FYI - EVERYONE is welcome in the Metallica Family. Whether you've been a fan for 40 hours or 40 years, we all share a bond through music. All of you started at ground zero at one point in time."
In the "Stranger Things" scene that features "Master of Puppets," season four new addition Eddie (Quinn) distracts the bat-like creatures that protect Vecna in the Upside Down in order to allow his classmates to get into the otherworldly villain's home. Eddie plays an incredible guitar solo from "Master of Puppets" that draws all the bats away from Vecna's lair to himself and Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), posted up on top of the Munson trailer home. Then they fight the creepy creatures off using their makeshift weaponry. Unfortunately, the performance is the beginning of the end for Eddie, who sacrifices himself to further distract and draw away the winged creatures.
Metallica said of their inclusion in the big moment, "It's an incredible honor to be such a big part of Eddie's journey and to once again be keeping company with all of the other amazing artists featured in the show."
Did Joseph Quinn Really Play Guitar in "Stranger Things"?
Quinn, 29, was actually playing the guitar during the episode nine scene, he's since confirmed - which proved to be quite the feat. "I've played guitar since I was quite young. So, I had the foundations to take most of it," he told Entertainment Tonight. Still, he explained further in an interview with Radio Times, tackling the challenge required practicing "manically for months." "I was trying to be realistic with kind of what I could do," Quinn told the outlet. "Like I've been playing [guitar] since I was a kid but I'm no virtuoso. So I had most of the song down, but for the solo, we had to fly someone, a black belt metal guitarist, in to help with that. The rest of it? I had a stab at it, yeah."
Quinn added, "It was so thrilling to do on the day – me and Gaten [Matarazzo] were on top of the caravan in the middle of the Upside Down playing Metallica. And it was great fun!"
Watch Joseph Quinn Practicing the "Master of Puppets" Solo
The Twitter account "stranger writers" pleased Eddie Munson fans everywhere when it shared a video of Quinn practicing for the solo along with the tweet "practice makes perfect." In the video, Quinn dexterously plays the solo on the custom-made guitar he uses in "Stranger Things," a collaboration with B.C. Rich called the Warlock. It seems the performance has inspired others to pick up the instrument as well; according to Billboard, the online guitar lesson platform Yousician reported that "Master of Puppets" is now the number one most requested song on the platform.

Metallica Pays Tribute to Eddie Munson
A video of Quinn practicing Metallica's "Master of Puppets" has fans agreeing that his rock-star turn as Eddie Munson on "Stranger Things" was, indeed, extremely metal. The video, which was shared on the official "Stranger Things" writers' Twitter on July 10, features Quinn practicing the solo he performed on the show, a performance that would go on to win praise from Metallica themselves. On July 5, the iconic heavy-metal band weighed in on the use of its 1986 hit "Master of Puppets" in an important scene of "Stranger Things" season four, volume two, calling it "so extremely well done."
"The way The Duffer Brothers have incorporated music into Stranger Things has always been next level, so we were beyond psyched for them to not only include 'Master of Puppets' in the show, but to have such a pivotal scene built around it," the band wrote on Instagram after the final two episodes of season four dropped on July 1. "We were all stoked to see the final result and when we did we were totally blown away . . . it's so extremely well done, so much so, that some folks were able to guess the song just by seeing a few seconds of Joseph Quinn's hands in the trailer!! How crazy cool is that?"

"Indian Matchmaking" Pairs Up More Eager Singles in the Season 2 Trailer
Good news, "Indian Matchmaking" fans: the show is returning for another season in August. The Netflix dating series, which premiered in July 2020, dives into the intersection of arranged marriages and matchmaking in Indian American culture. Per the season two trailer, released on July 28, Bombay's highly esteemed matchmaker Sima Taparia is ready to help another set of eligible, eccentric, and eager millennial singles through a detailed search in the hopes of finding their perfect match.
"We have people from different religious backgrounds, different social economic backgrounds, different ideological backgrounds."
According to Netflix, "This season, [Taparia] will manage more expectations than ever before from clients, old and new - with wishlists ranging from man-buns, to an 'ovo-lacto-semi-vegetarian' diet, to a shared love of Taco Bell. Drawing from her decades of experience, insightful intuition and traditional methods, [Taparia] strives to help some lucky singles find their destinies!"
Season one of "Indian Matchmaking" concluded with some loose threads. Series creator Smriti Mundhra hinted that the ending was an intentional nod to ask Netflix for another season. On Aug. 9, 2021, she finally got her answer. Netflix announced its largest casting call yet and also revealed that "Indian Matchmaking" had been renewed for a second season. The streamer followed up on March 24 of this year with another order for the reality TV series, this time for a third season.
"Indian Matchmaking"'s first season stretched across both the US and India, as Taparia paired her eligible clients based on their career ambitions, personalities, astrological compatibilities, and family dynamics. Of course, sifting through the expectations of her clients - and, more importantly, their parents - was a hot topic of conversation throughout the show. Looking ahead, Mundhra is already finding ways she can help improve the show, the biggest being portraying diversity within the cast.
"We have people from different religious backgrounds, different social economic backgrounds, different ideological backgrounds. I wanted the show to represent different aspects of the diaspora - not only one lens," she previously told OprahMag.com. Of host Taparia, Mundhra added: "This is an ongoing cycle of life for our community and for Sima, specifically. She's going to continue doing this work, on camera and off. The story continues."
The modern-era matchmaking series is a refreshing new spin on the reality-TV dating market, and Netflix's season three announcement has us keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be seeing a lot more of Taparia and her eligible clients in the future. Ahead, find out everything we know about "Indian Matchmaking" season two, including when it premieres.

Cara Delevingne on Her "Odd" BBMAs Moments With Megan Thee Stallion: "I Was Living My Best Life"
Cara Delevingne certainly leads an interesting life. On screen, the actor stars alongside her good friend Selena Gomez in Hulu's Emmy-nominated "Only Murders in the Building" as art-gallery owner Alice. But off screen, Delevingne finds herself in some funny predicaments. During her July 27 appearance on "The Tonight Show," she bonded with host Jimmy Fallon over buying his old apartment. "I sleep in your bed. Is that weird?" she joked.
"I was living my best life, but people found it a bit odd."
After the two finished discussing "one of the most incredible places" Delevingne has ever lived in, Fallon asked about the actor's seemingly awkward encounters with Megan Thee Stallion at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. "No one understood what was happening because you weren't quite at the awards, nor were you with her," he said while pointing to a photo of Delevingne holding the "Plan B" rapper's skirt train on the red carpet.
Delevingne clarified how she ended up at the award show, joking that she was "working as [Megan's production assistant]." "Basically, I was in Vegas, we're friends, and I really wanted to see her play, and she asked me to come along with her," she explained. "I didn't know I was going to go and sit or do anything. I thought I was just going to come and watch her play." Delevingne added that she actually helped Megan out in case she accepted an award that night (she won the award for top rap female artist), as she "[walked] around with a clipboard helping her memorize her speech."
So, turns out that Megan welcomed Delevingne's presence at the show, but the actor still knows she may have taken her plus-one hype-woman duties a little too seriously. "I was living my best life, but people found it a bit odd," Delevingne said. "People find me odd, but that's just me."
Delevingne also touched on "Only Murders in the Building" and shared what it's like working with her "heroes," costars Steve Martin and Martin Short. She even talked about director Steven Spielberg's surprise pop up on set. Finally, the actor wrapped up her late-night appearance in true Delevingne fashion - with a random magic trick, of course!

Diego Luna Left Hollywood to Raise His Kids in His Home Country of Mexico
Diego Luna, best known for his roles in "Narcos" and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," may have made a big name for himself in Hollywood, but he still considers Mexico home. Born and raised there, Diego married his then-wife Camila Sodi in Mexico City in 2008 before they moved to the US. They share two children together, Fiona and Jerónimo Luna, but divorced in 2013. After the split, Diego decided to relocate back to Mexico and raise his kids there so he could focus on his activism and help solve the issues facing his home country.
". . . I want my kids seeing [their] dad getting involved with the place he lives in."
In 2018, he told NPR that there's a "richness" about Mexico that he wants his kids to experience. "I have to say there's something quite interesting in living this time of their lives in Mexico versus the States," he said. "Right now, I feel that I'm useful here and that I want my kids seeing [their] dad getting involved with the place he lives in."
Aside from his embracing his roots, Diego has also been candid about how his Hollywood prospects have given him a special way to connect with his children. In July 2019, he told Entertainment Tonight that starring in director Guillermo del Toro's animated series "3Below: Tales of Arcadia" - a show that he says comments on "love," "family," and "belonging" - allowed him to communicate with his kids better. "I have to thank him because he showed me a way to talk to my kids in a very respectful, very intelligent, very horizontal way," said Diego.
The actor keeps his personal life pretty private these days, letting his two kids flourish as normally as they can. However, they've previously joined him on red carpets, along with Sodi, whom Diego is still close with, while they coparent. Keep reading ahead to learn a few more fun things about Luna's kids!
Jerónimo Luna
Jerónimo Luna was born Aug. 12, 2008 in Los Angeles. He is Diego's oldest child.
Soon after Jerónimo was born, Diego did an interview with DIY, discussing his work directing "Abel." He said he chose to make the movie because he'd just had a son and wanted a film about parents and sons, specifically discussing absent parents. He also spoke about his own absent father - without blaming him - and said he wanted better for his own son. "Like I said, I had a baby, and there's no way, no reason for me to lose the chance to be part of every decision that has to do with my kids."
Fiona Luna
Fiona Luna was born July 1, 2010. She is Diego's youngest child and was named after his mother. Fiona is apparently into music, as her devoted dad told C Magazine in 2019 that on his previous trip to LA from Mexico City, he was on the hunt for a pink violin for her. "There must be somewhere on Sunset Boulevard that sells pink violins," he joked.
In early 2020, both Fiona and Jerónimo contracted COVID-19 and had to stay separated from their dad, Diego told IndieWire in April of that year. In the same interview, Diego also said that both had since recovered and were reportedly immune to the virus, adding that they were finally back home with him and in the "next stage."

In a 2010 interview with Ozone Magazine, Lil Wayne opened up about his relationships with the mothers of his children and the criticism he's faced as someone who shares four kids with four different women. "I don't think what people think should be any concern of anybody's," Lil Wayne told the magazine, per MTV. "It's definitely not a concern of mine. I'd be crazy if it was and you're crazy if you are. But that goes back to me not caring about what people think or say."
The "Mirror" rapper brings his kids to red carpet events and sports events from time to time, but according to his eldest, Lil Wayne's favorite thing to do with his kids is movie nights at home. "My dad and I are house buds, we like to stay in," Reginae told Young, Bold, and Regal in 2021. Selena Gomez Reveals Why She's "Starting to Really Like 30"
After celebrating her 30th birthday by spending time with bestie Taylor Swift and partying in a sequin feathered minidress, Selena Gomez shared her thoughts on the milestone birthday. "Have had a moment to catch up. Though there are so many words to say I'll simply leave it at this. My twenties were a journey through good, hard and beautiful moments that I will never forget," the "Only Murders in the Building" actor wrote in an Instagram post shared on July 25.
She continued, "Each of them has shaped me into the person that I am today. I am someone who is still learning, but is more certain about what matters and what she wants. Someone who is grateful for every single gift and every single lesson along the way." Having acknowledged what her 20s brought her, she went on to discuss her hopes for the future - what her intentions are as she starts this new chapter of her life, not with trepidation but with hope and optimism. It sounds like the birthday girl is placing the most focus on self-care and growth.
"I want to try my best to take the beautiful and the painful one day at a time and let it all make me into the very best me that I can be for myself/others/you."
"I am walking forward encouraged by so many strong, empowering people around me. I want to try my best to take the beautiful and the painful one day at a time and let it all make me into the very best me that I can be for myself/others/you. After a few days of celebrating, my heart feels full, grateful and I can say that I'm starting to really like 30," she wrote, expressing gratitude for everyone who has been a part of her journey so far.
As Gomez enters a new decade, she seems more self-assured than ever before. This is the beginning of a new era for her career, her love life (in a recent TikTok, her grandma accidentally revealed that she is, indeed, dating again), and her own self. All the best wishes to the birthday girl, and as Gomez wrote in her post, "Here's to another decade!"

Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa Reveal the Sex of Their Baby
It's a boy! In a recent Instagram video, Tarek and Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa announced the sex of their first baby together, sharing a scene from their reveal party in which they showered onlookers with cannons of bright blue confetti.
Heather also posted footage of her family getting glammed up for the big event in a series on Instagram Story clips, asking her stepdaughter, Taylor, whether she is team boy or team girl. "Umm, team girl!" she exclaimed, while getting her hair done in the background. Heather herself said, "I don't care either way, I'm just excited to find out!"
In the end, Heather wore a stunning white ILA gown, complete with crystallized letters that spelled out "BABY EL MOUSSA" across her back. The rest of the party's vibrant blue and pink decor was done by Sonia Studios. Heather posted a photo in her dress, smiling widely with anticipation just before she learned whether she was having a boy or a girl, writing, "This was right before I found out!!! I was shaking and my heart was racing."
"I was shaking and my heart was racing."
As Heather told People Magazine back in July, the initial pregnancy news was a bit of a shock. "We just weren't expecting this. We had just gone through IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan."
The two got married back in October of 2021, with the "Selling Sunset" star officially becoming a stepmom to Tarek's two other children, Taylor (11) and Brayden (6), who he shares with his ex-wife, Christina Hall. However, with hopes to further expand their blended family, the couple had originally planned on undergoing IVF to have another child together. Heather said they even had a date picked out to implant an embryo.
"When we first started dating three years ago, we went into our relationship not planning on having children together," Heather said. "But as your love grows more and more and you fall deeper in love with someone and you build this life together, I started picturing myself having a child with Tarek."
Heather told People she took two pregnancy tests after Tarek "had this weird feeling" while in a Zoom meeting. Both came back "undetected" so she decided to take one more test to be sure. "I was organizing my clothes. I was just doing other things, and probably like 20 minutes later I was like, 'Oh, the pregnancy test.' I went and looked and it said full-on pregnant," she said.
"The world just brought us what was meant to be."
She ended up telling Tarek the news by wrapping the pregnancy tests in a gift box complete with a baby onesie and confetti. While it took him a minute to piece together the news, Heather said it ended up being a moment of total excitement and relief.
Pregnancy definitely came early for the happy couple, but Heather thinks the timing is still perfect. "I think when you least expect it and there's no stress in your life, the world just brought us what was meant to be. I'm so excited that it happened like this," she said in the interview. She posted photos on her Instagram featuring her baby bump on the beach, alongside the entire El Moussa family with the caption, "Surprise!!! Baby El Moussa coming early 2023!! 🤍"

Both of Win's parents got emotional in the captions on their respective videos. Ciara captioned her post, "Our precious baby boy Win turned the BIG 2 and I'm so grateful! He's the sweetest, most energetic, and funniest 2 year old you could ever know. The best little brother! He lights up every room he walks in! @DangeRussWilson I'm so proud of us! We are blessed! Mommy and Daddy love you so so much Win!!"
Meanwhile, Wilson wrote, "WIN!!! TWO!!! Glory! Grateful for the anointing over your life! God blessed us with you! You bring so much joy and love to our family. You are destined to encourage, challenge, and make the world a better place! Keep WINNING young King! Love Daddy & Mommy."
In addition to celebrating Win, the whole family seemed to love their time at Disneyland. Wilson shared several videos of Future, whom Ciara shares with her ex Future, and Sienna enjoying their day at the park. In one video, Wilson and Future can be seen trying to beat Ciara and Sienna in a race on Radiator Springs Racers. In another, Sienna rides next to her dad on the park's carousel.
