Did Christine Quinn Quit The Oppenheim Group?

If "Selling Sunset" returns for season six, the reality show's resident villain, Christine Quinn, is unlikely to be returning with it. After much post-season five speculation, a source revealed to Us Weekly that Quinn is no longer with The Oppenheim Group. "It was Christine's decision to leave the Oppenheim Group," the source confirmed.

While Netflix has yet to confirm the news, Quinn's bio is noticeably missing on The Oppenheim Group's official website. Since it was still there shortly after season five premiered on April 22, it appears the formal split occurred after the season ended. The realtor's next move is no secret: she and husband Christian Richard recently launched their own cryptocurrency-based brokerage, RealOpen, as reported by Forbes.

However, what remains unclear is whether or not Quinn will still make future appearances on "Selling Sunset" if the show returns for season six. The divisive realtor recently missed the taping for the show's reunion special, which is set to premiere on Netflix on May 6, after testing positive for COVID. "Christine tested positive for COVID and out of abundance of caution for the cast and crew, she did not attend the reunion," her rep told Us Weekly. "Producers offered her the opportunity to video chat, but she declined because she wasn't feeling well enough to do it."

Given how many Quinn-related cliffhangers there were in the season five finale, fans will no doubt be disappointed if the realtor doesn't return in some capacity if the show is renewed. Almost everyone is still at odds with Quinn in the finale, from Chrishell Stause to Mary Fitzgerald to Heather Rae El Moussa. During the finale, titled "Nothing Remains the Same," Quinn's future with The Oppenheim Group is put into question after she skips her meeting with Fitzgerald and Jason Oppenheim.

"She was one of the first agents that I hired. I saw an intelligence in her, her wit, and I just felt like if she could direct her energies towards real estate and not towards drama, not towards vindictiveness, not towards the other things, she could've been so successful. That's what's so frustrating, 'cause I care about her," Oppenheim tells Fitzgerald of Quinn. "I can care about somebody and hope for the best for them, but not sitting in my office."

Fitzgerald then asks Oppenheim, "What are you going to do? Is this, like, the end for Christine?" After that conversation, we don't see Quinn for the remainder of the episode. So the big question now remains: does she still work for The Oppenheim Group?

Quinn's costar and friend Chelsea Lazkani was recently asked by Extra whether Quinn left the brokerage, but she didn't seem to know either. "Can you tell me? Because I'll be really upset, honestly, if she does. I'm probably gonna cry, so when you find out, please let me know because I have no idea," she said. "If Christine's leaving the brokerage, I won't know because they will want to keep that part of it very, very organic for TV and get that reaction."

Although Quinn has yet to publicly address her status with the brokerage, the upcoming reunion episode could offer up answers even without the realtor taking part.

Javicia Leslie Reacts to "Batwoman" Cancellation on Instagram

In the wake of The CW's cancellation of "Batwoman" after three seasons, star Javicia Leslie is speaking out. Leslie, who joined the show as Ryan Wilder in season two after Ruby Rose exited the series in season one, reflected on her journey playing Gotham City's masked hero in an emotional Instagram post. While the star is sad to see the series end, she makes it clear that she is proud to have been part of such an inclusive superhero show.

"The Most High never ceases to amaze me!" she began her lengthy Instagram post. "I was taught that words have power and we speak our life into existence. Well, I spoke this role into my life, and what an honor it has been to watch it play out exactly how it was meant to Family, this Bat Team is ours.. HERstory was made and it can never be taken."

Leslie went on to praise the show's cast and crew, as well as its passionate fanbase. "Going to set with such an amazing crew and cast makes work feel like play EVERY DAY! Thank you to our entire production team in Vancouver, our LA peeps that keep the stories coming, our big-wigs that believed that we could really do this, and our amazing cast that give their hearts on screen every episode!" she wrote. "And to the fans . . . WOW . . . I tear up thinking about all of your messages, tweets, DMs, and letters!! You all reminded me why what we do is soooo important. @ViolaDavis recently said in an interview when asked why representation matters: 'Because you need to see a physical manifestation of your dream. There is something about seeing someone who looks like you that makes it more tangible.' . . . cheers to what's next."

Showrunner Caroline Dries initially broke the news of the show's cancellation on Friday. "Just got the sad news that "Batwoman" will not be seeing an S4. I am bummed, but full of gratitude. What an honor to make 51 episodes. So many inspiring, brilliant people contributed to this series. Thank you producers, cast and crew. Thank you, fans! We love you," she tweeted.

Shortly after the season three finale aired in March, Dries revealed to TVLine that while she hoped The CW would renew "Batwoman" for season four, the finale could also work as a series finale if necessary. "I think you can tell by how the stories come to a satisfying conclusion that if this were the end, it feels like we've answered enough questions and then also created one big question," she said. "That was important to me because the show and each of these individual characters are so important to me that I wanted to give them their due finale moment."

Let the Record Show: Andrew Garfield's Butt in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" Is "Totally Unmodified"

Andrew Garfield is defending his derrière. During a "Late Night With Seth Meyers" appearance on April 28, the actor addressed rumors that his "Spider-Man: No Way Home" costume featured a fake butt - rumors fueled by his costar and fellow Peter Parker actor, Tom Holland.

"He's just stirring the pot, old Tom. He can't help himself," Garfield said, adding that Holland was likely trying to get a rise out of Marvel fans. "There's an expression that we have in entertainment, which is, 'We want to put bums on seats.' We want to get the audience sat and paying their tickets, and Tom is pretty great at creating subgenres of games for you all while you're at the cinema going, 'Well that butt doesn't look real. Toby's looks like it might be real. Could Andrew have that much ass? Maybe, potentially.'" He's not wrong - that exact dialogue may or may not have run through our mind while watching the movie.

"All I know is that I am totally unmodified."

Further prompted by host Meyers, Garfield set the record straight about his backside, once and for all. "All I know is that I am totally unmodified," said the star, who recently announced he's taking a break from acting. "That's all I can share. I think Tom is very good at marketing."

Holland first brought Spider-Man's butt size into question during a "Late Night With Seth Meyers" interview in February. "I'm not gonna tell you who, but one of us has a fake ass in their suit. You can figure that out for yourselves," he teased, referencing himself, Garfield, and Tobey Maguire in "Spider-Man: No Way Home." So, was it Maguire who needed some artificial junk added to his trunk? We'll have to wait and see if he chimes in.

"House of the Dragon": The "Game of Thrones" Prequel Has a Full Cast

HBO has finally rounded out the main cast for its long-anticipated "Game of Thrones" prequel, "House of the Dragon." The series, which is set 200 years before the events of "Game of Thrones," is based on author George R.R. Martin's 2019 novel "Fire & Blood" and will follow the story of House Targaryen. The five major actors who have been tapped as the lead characters are Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy, and Steve Toussaint. Other additions to the cast include Ryan Corr, Graham McTavish, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, David Horovitch, Bill Paterson, and Gavin Spokes.

Smith opened up about his role on the show in 2021. On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he said that his role is "an interesting and dark and disturbed part to play." Even scarier than his character, he said, is his dragon, Caraxes. "He's big and red and angry," Smith said. "He's a really angry dragon. Mine's the angriest of all the dragons. There is no angrier dragon than Caraxes. He's a real moody bastard."

HBO originally announced the Targaryen-focused prequel back in September 2019, giving it a 10-episode order and tapping Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan Condal to serve as showrunners and executive producers. Sapochnik worked extensively on "Game of Thrones," directing some of the show's biggest episodes and most massive battles, including "The Battle of the Bastards" and "The Long Night."

The show is set to premiere Aug. 21, and we'll find out just what bloody antics the Targaryens will get into then. Prepare yourself for the new series by learning about the show's extensive cast.

Ahead, read up on all the cast members and characters in "House of the Dragon."

"RuPaul's Drag Race" Stars Willow Pill and Lady Camden on an Unpredictable Season 14

Image Source: Getty / Astrid Stawiarz

Season 14 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" was unlike any other we've ever seen. From the unexpected twists to the out-of-the-box fashions to a historic finale, this season's cast held nothing back as they competed for the "Drag Race" crown. After many (many) lip-syncs and shocking elimination rounds, RuPaul finally declared Willow Pill, aka "Wiwwl Piwwl," a winner, baby. It's been nearly three weeks since the season's final episode was filmed, and Pill is still processing her victory.

"I really want to release some of the pressure that I feel and just have the win in a lane that is really fun, wild, but also relaxed, and still enjoyable."

"It feels great, honestly. I think I'm really just in the beginning of starting to compute that [I'm season 14's winner]," they tell POPSUGAR. As the first trans woman to win a non-All Stars season of "RuPaul's Drag Race," Pill shares that the pressure of being a public figure has piled on even more, but she welcomes it with open arms. "I think sometimes we put too much pressure on not only the 'Drag Race' girls but especially the winners," she adds. "I'd be lying if I said that this journey hasn't been difficult, especially on my body and mind, just how much you have to work and give to the people. So, I'm actually trying to do the opposite. I really want to release some of the pressure that I feel and just have the win in a lane that is really fun, wild, but also relaxed, and still enjoyable. I don't want it to feel like torture."

This season's "RuPaul's Drag Race" finale saw Pill face off against runner-up Lady Camden in an epic lip-sync battle, which the latter describes as an enjoyable moment for the pair. "I think the two of us were just so pumped and excited to make it to that point," Camden tells POPSUGAR. "I think in those last few moments, a lot of it goes out the window. You try to perform the crap out of [the song] and just have a good time and be present."

For the first time in "RuPaul's Drag Race" history, five queens made it to the finale - including Angeria Paris VanMichaels, Daya Betty, and Bosco - proving yet again that season 14 followed its own rules. Viewers may have been shocked by RuPaul's decision to keep so many people in the competition, but Camden always knew there was too much talent in the cast to have anything fewer than five finalists. "I felt like the five of us had all proven ourselves in different ways, especially when it was Angeria and Willow in the bottom," she says. "At that point, track record does kind of come into play a little bit more, and I just couldn't really see them going home because they were both just really strong."

"I think the show is going to continue to evolve just as queer culture does."

Even the competing queens who didn't make it to the end found a way to make their mark on the "Drag Race" legacy. Pill and Camden agree that their season has been the most unpredictable. "I honestly believe that this is one of the best seasons that's happened in quite some time," Pill remarks. "It's just been so special, and I attribute that to the cast. The cast is just phenomenal. I mean, everyone is so fun and kind, and it's really just a group of weirdos. We all are a little bit odd in our own ways." Camden adds: "I feel like a lot of people were surprised by who actually did make it to the end, myself included. I feel like not a lot of people thought that I was going to make it that far at first, and I think maybe that's why people are kind of finding that this season's different [than] others . . . I think that the show is changing every season because, as people, we understand that queer culture changes throughout the years. So you can't really expect to do the same thing over and over again and have it be as captivating. I think the show is going to continue to evolve just as queer culture does."

From the first moment the season 14 queens walked into the Werk Room, fans have seen tremendous growth. Season 14 put a major spotlight on transparency around gender identity, coming-out stories, and health conditions - all of which impacted the cast. But powerful testimonies from people like Pill - who has suffered from a condition called cystinosis since birth - on a platform as big as "RuPaul's Drag Race" weren't easy to reveal.

"I knew that in order to give a full view of what my drag is, I would also have to give a full view of what's happening behind the scenes."

"We've had queens (like Yvie Oddly) speak about chronic illnesses in the past, but I wanted [to give] full transparency. I knew I would have to have full transparency because so much of my drag is informed by my illness," Pill shares. "There's no way to really explain the talent without explaining what's happened to me in the past. A lot of my looks themselves are also inspired by my illness and my relationship with death and darkness. So, I knew that in order to give a full view of what my drag is, I would also have to give a full view of what's happening behind the scenes."

These revelations allowed Pill and Camden to fully immerse themselves in the "Drag Race" experience. Neither had a strategy coming into the competition, but based on the judge's weekly critiques and observations, both quickly realized they'd need to do the unexpected to make it far on the show. "I think I tried to play it safe and just do well in the beginning, and then that was proving to not really work because I think I learned quite quickly that the judges were not interested in seeing people [just] do well," Lady Camden explains. "They were interested in finding out more about the person and seeing them have fun and do crazy things and take risks."

Pill is a prime example of those crazy things and risks taken - the key to her success as season 14's winner. And though they didn't have a plan drawn up, her season went exactly the way they expected. "It wasn't that I walked in with this huge strategy. It was more like, I want to go into this and be as authentic and honest about my life as I possibly can," she says. "Because I know I have a story, and I want to reveal that in layers . . . It really took a lot to just restrain myself, have patience, and be like, all right, we're going to take this one episode at a time. Each episode, I looked to reveal a little bit more of myself, that way I'm really telling the story of how my drag became what it is."

"RuPaul's Drag Race" offered the queens a lot of lessons - many of which furthered their understanding of the true meaning of drag. Fashion and lip-syncing weren't the only things top of mind - self-discovery was a big part of season 14's narrative. "I think one of the biggest takeaways was just a lot of coming to terms with my gender identity," Pill shares. "I identify as trans femme and being with the other girls, particularly the other trans girls, was just such a blessing. It really made me go home from the show like, 'All right, I've got a little bit of homework I need to do in figuring where I fit into all of this because it feels different than when I walked in.' A lot of that is just attributed to how much fun I had getting to be Willow again and getting to be in drag again, because the pandemic took that away for a while."

"I think that 'Drag Race' taught me, no matter where you are in your career, to have fun with drag and take risks."

Camden came to her conclusions rooted in confidence, empowering her to take chances as well. "I think that's exactly what I took away from it. Anytime I did take a risk, it was the time that I did well," she says. "And anytime that I played it safe was the time that I was in the most danger. So I think that 'Drag Race' taught me, no matter where you are in your career, to have fun with drag and take risks."

"RuPaul's Drag Race" has given both queens a new sense of freedom to be themselves, have permission to do whatever they desire without fear of ridicule, and trust their instincts because it's already taken them so far. As they embark on their next endeavors - in TV, films, sketch comedy, and live performances - the two queens are confident in knowing that their post-" RuPaul's Drag Race" chapters are just the beginning.

"Crush" Star Isabella Ferreira Ran Into Chrissy Teigen Shopping At Target

In our Q&A series Last Call, we get down to the bottom of every last thing with some of our favorite celebs - from the last time they were starstruck to the last song they listened to. This week, Isabella Ferreira takes our call.

Isabella Ferreira knew she wanted to play Gabriela in Hulu's new movie "Crush" as soon as she read the script. "I really just enjoyed how the film embraces LGBTQ+ characters without revolving the narrative around any of their coming-out stories, and it's a simple love story," she tells POPSUGAR. "Characters are out, surrounded by supportive parents and classmates, and I just think this positive depiction normalizes and encourages a safe environment for LGBTQ+ teens."

Ferreira also loved that the character was a "popular It girl" who was also Latina. She says, "I've always wanted to play that character," but she wasn't sure she'd ever get the chance. She loved wearing Gabby's bright and trendy costumes. "Gabby always had fruit earrings, and I thought that was super cute and quirky," she says.

"I feel I would've loved to watch something like this when I was younger,"

In the movie, Paige (Rowan Blanchard) harbors a longstanding crush on Gabriela, but she struggles to be herself around her. She joins the school's track team, where Gabriela is a star athlete, but she doesn't expect to grow closer to Gabriela's sister, AJ (Auli'i Cravalho), instead. Paige ends up torn between the two girls as they balance friendship, fun, and high school.

For Ferreira, the track scenes were some of the biggest challenges. "Luckily, we didn't have to get too many shots of us running and stuff," she jokes. Before production, she started running more to build her stamina, which was already pretty great because she used to be a dancer. But filming during the summer in Syracuse, NY, some days they were stuck running in the brutal heat. It also rained during some of the track scenes, making them a slog.

Filming in the small town of Syracuse really bonded the cast together, though. One of Ferreira's favorite scenes is when the group of friends attends a house party. "It was really fun," she explains. "It was late at night. We were all delirious and just having fun, and dancing."

Ferreira also stars on Hulu's "Love, Victor," as Victor's younger sister Pilar. The show is wrapping up this June with a third and final season. Ferreira is grateful to be a part of two projects that spotlight LGBTQ+ teens. "I feel I would've loved to watch something like this when I was younger," she explains. "Just a fun movie or show that would make me feel safe and that also normalizes LGBTQ+ youth stories. And both the series 'Love, Victor' and 'Crush' are extremely funny, so there's that."

Keep reading to see what else Ferreira has to say about the filming "Crush," her favorite snacks, and so much more in our Last Call interview.

What was the last day on the "Crush" set like?

I remember it being so late. We all wrapped at different times, but two of the actors wrapped before me and Rowan. So when I wrapped, it was probably around 3. And I remember that I had a flight at 6 a.m. or 7 a.m., just to go back home. And so we were delirious, but it was so fun. I ended on a fun note because the scene that I did was my drunk scene. And so, we were all just having a ball, just jokes, and making the best of it.

Besides "Crush," what was the last rom-com you watched?

"The Mirror Has Two Faces" with Barbra Streisand

Who was the last "Crush" costar you texted?

The last Crush costar I texted is definitely Teala [Dunn]. We send each other voice memos every single morning. I think we got really close after filming.

When was the last time you were starstruck?

This is just super random, but I was in Target one day in the bathing suit section, just looking at the bathing suits. And I look up and across from me is Chrissy Teigen also in the bathing suit section. And I think I was just so caught off guard. I was just like, "What is going on? Why is Chrissy Teigen right in front of me shopping in the same section as me?" It's very random.

What was the last song you listened to?

"White Ferrari" by Frank Ocean

What was the last album you bought or streamed?

"Black & White" by The Pointer Sisters

What is the last photo on your camera roll?

The last photo is of my dog, for sure. I literally just took a picture of her. She's on the bed with me right now, and she's just cuddled up. So cute.

What was the last show you binge-watched?

"Forecasting Love and Weather" on Netflix

What was the last thing you bought online?

The last thing that I ordered online was a Chai Tea Slush from It's Boba Time. It's my favorite thing ever.

What was the last thing you did for fun?

I went to the beach recently. I love the beach. I go to the beach all the time. But I went with some of my "Love, Victor" castmates, and that was really fun, and we played volleyball.

What was the last book you read?

"We Were Liars" by E. Lockhart

What was the last gift you received?

It was a necklace from my mom, a Vivienne Westwood necklace that I really wanted. And it's just the cutest little choker with pearls.

What was the last piece of advice you received that changed your life?

"If it's meant to be, it will be." I really just love this piece of advice because it helps me not dwell over things I can't control.

"Crush" premieres on Hulu on April 29.

Christine Quinn Missed the "Selling Sunset" Reunion - Here's Why

After five drama-filled seasons, "Selling Sunset" is holding its first-ever reunion special next month, and fans are eager to catch up on all the lingering drama with the Oppenheim Group agents. On April 25, Netflix teased the reunion with a cast photo featuring every star except one: Christine Quinn. The same day, People reported that she missed the taping after testing positive for COVID. Her rep told the publication, "Out of an abundance of caution for the cast and crew, she did not attend the reunion."

However, on April 26, TMZ shared a photo of Quinn on a film set just three days after her positive COVID test result. (For reference, the CDC recommends that those who test positive self-isolate for at least five days.) Castmate Chrishell Stause quickly called out Quinn's seemingly contradictory reason for skipping the reunion, replying to TMZ's article on Twitter with a GIF of Maury Povich reciting his signature phrase: "The lie-detector test determined that was a lie."

The two cast members have never gotten along, but their relationship took a turn in season four of "Selling Sunset" after Quinn allegedly planted fabricated stories about Stause's love life in the press.

Fans are speculating that Quinn's absence from the upcoming reunion could be due to the buildup of tension between her and the other cast members this season. The season five finale shows Quinn's future at the Oppenheim Group to be up in the air, and it's unclear whether the reunion will shed light on where she stands, since she won't be present to speak for herself. "Selling Sunset"'s reunion special premieres on May 6.

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde's Relationship, From "Don't Worry Darling" to Coachella

Though Olivia Wilde has had a few high-profile long-term romances - including with ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis and ex-husband Tao Ruspoli - Harry Styles has stayed a little more low profile with his romances. He's previously been linked to the likes of Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner, though most of his relationships have been kept relatively private. In short, we know very little about his dating life. Until now. Sorta.

Styles and Wilde have been linked since they worked together on the film "Don't Worry Darling," which Wilde directed and Styles starred in, but the two have kept pretty low-key about their relationship since late 2020. Though they've been spotted together numerous times since the first photos of them holding hands dropped in 2021, they haven't given the public any concrete details about their love. Although we don't know a whole lot about their relationship, we do know both have talked about how happy they are these days, and we can't help but think they have each other to thank for that.

Meet the Stars of "The Color Purple" Movie Musical

Alice Walker's acclaimed novel "The Color Purple" is being adapted once more. Decades after Steven Spielberg's 1985 adaptation received accolades, a film inspired by the similarly lauded stage musical - which originally ran from 2005 to 2008, then again from 2015 to 2017 - is in the works.

After announcing the film would star H.E.R. in her first major acting role as aspiring singer Squeak, other major cast additions followed. Stars like Taraji P. Henson, playing the role of Shug Avery, and Corey Hawkins, portraying Harpo, were previously announced, and on Feb. 3, during an "ABC News" special, Oprah Winfrey unveiled the official lineup of lead actors in the adaptation: Danielle Brooks, Halle Bailey, Fantasia Taylor, and Colman Domingo.

Brooks is set to play Sofia, whom she also portrayed on Broadway from 2015 to 2017. In addition, Taylor is reprising her role as Celie after making her Broadway debut in the role in 2007. Bailey has been cast as young Nettie, and Domingo will play Mister.

On March 18, Essence revealed even more names joining the cast, including Deon Cole, Louis Gossett Jr., David Alan Grier, Tamela Mann, Stephen Hill, and newcomer Phylicia Pearl Mpasi, who will play young Celie. Entertainment Weekly reported that Ciara has also joined the cast to play the adult version of Bailey's character.

Other actors in the cast include "King Richard" star Aunjanue Ellis, "The Dropout"'s Elizabeth Marvel, and Jon Batiste for his acting debut. Deadline also reported that Terrence J. Smith, Tiffany Elle Burgess, and Aba Arthur have been added to the ever-growing cast.

"Black Is King" codirector Blitz Bazawule will direct the musical movie, while Winfrey - whose portrayal of Sofia in the Spielberg adaptation earned her an Oscar nomination - is on board as a producer. The release is set for Dec. 20, 2023, and production is already underway. In the meantime, keep reading ahead to learn more about the "The Color Purple" cast.

Pete Davidson Is Starring in a Comedy Series About His Life

Art continues to imitate life for Pete Davidson. The comedian and "Saturday Night Live" cast member will soon star in a comedy series inspired by his life, Deadline reported in early March. Following initial reports, The Hollywood Reporter shared the series had been picked up by Peacock. This will be the second semi-autobiographical project for Davidson, who previously cowrote and starred in 2020's "The King of Staten Island," loosely informed by his family dynamic and mental health struggles.

Proceeding under the working title "Bupkis," the series will offer a "raw, unflinching, fictionalized" look into Davidson's daily life, per Deadline, and is comparable to Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Davidson will write the series with Judah Miller and Dave Sirus, and "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels will produce with Universal Television under his Broadway Video studio.

"Pete Davidson is one of the most sought-after comedians today with his smart, one-of-a-kind humor and honest point of view," Susan Rovner, the chairman of entertainment content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, said in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter. "'Bupkis' will showcase Pete's funny, surprising and unfiltered brand of comedy audiences have come to love as we continue to bolster our Peacock comedy slate."

Davidson's professional and personal lives will provide plenty of material. Following a string of high-profile relationships, he's currently dating Kim Kardashian, much to the very public displeasure of Kardashian's ex-husband Kanye West. Kardashian recently said Davidson hasn't yet filmed for her forthcoming Hulu reality show, but she's open to the idea. "It's just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn't tell the cameras to get away," she told Variety.

Davidson is also still an active "SNL" cast member, although his exit from the sketch-comedy show often seems impending. This season, for example, Davidson has already missed two episodes as he films a horror movie titled "The Home." In a comedy-actor roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter in 2021, Davidson said he's surprised he's lasted as long as he has on the series. He added, "I'm ready to hang up the jersey."

Spider-Man Spinoff "Madame Web" Gets Summer 2023 Release Date

Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney are entering the Spider-Verse. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson is set to star as the titular character in the upcoming Spider-Man spinoff "Madame Web," which would make her the first woman superhero to appear in Sony's Marvel universe.

On March 16, Variety announced that Sweeney has been added to the cast, although her role has not yet been revealed. Sweeney is best known for playing Cassie on HBO's "Euphoria" and Olivia on "The White Lotus."

While no other details regarding the movie's plot have been revealed at this time, Madame Web appears in the comics as an elderly woman with myasthenia gravis who is connected to a life-support system that resembles a web. Due to her medical condition, she never actively fights any villains. It's unclear if this will change for Johnson's character.

The Sony movie will be directed by S.J. Clarkson, with Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless writing the screenplay. On April 20, Sony announced the official release date for "Madame Web," set to hit theaters on July 7, 2023, amongst its other future film releases. It's unknown if production on the spinoff movie has begun yet.

Maluma's New Wax Figure Is on Its Way to Steal Your Girl

Having a Madame Tussauds wax figure is a rite of passage for celebrities - one that can wind up a humbling fiasco or a flattering homage. Lucky for Maluma, his is the latter. The "Sobrio" singer unveiled his new wax figure in his hometown of MedellĂn, Colombia, on April 25, and we're delighted to report that it perfectly captures his good looks.

The realistic statue wears a white suit sans undershirt and features Maluma's side-shaved hairstyle, various tattoos, and nose and ear piercings. It even mimics his signature smoldering facial expression and go-to hand-over-chest pose. The artists who crafted it deserve a sizable raise and should promptly redesign all prior botched attempts at immortalizing famous stars in wax.

The "Marry Me" actor's wax figure is actually a historic one for Madame Tussauds, as it's the first time the museum has transported a creation to Colombia. It will remain on display at the Medellin Museum of Modern Art for two weeks before moving to its permanent home at Madame Tussauds in Orlando, FL.

Through the years, Madame Tussauds has churned out hundreds of waxen celebrity doppelgangers, ranging from spot-on re-creations like those of Drake and Ariana Grande to unfortunate blunders like those of Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. Here's to hoping Maluma's wax figure heralds in a new era of more accurate creations. Ahead, check out photos of the singer proudly posing alongside his look-alike statue.

Britney Spears Steps Back From Social Media

Image Source: Getty / Steve Granitz

Britney Spears is taking a step back from social media. On April 24, the 40-year-old singer - known to be quite active online - told her Instagram followers that she's taking a break in a post captioned, "I'm going on a social media hiatus for a little while 📱 !!! I send my love and God bless you all 💓💓🌹🌹 !!!" Her post included a video of a baby in a robe, sunglasses, and hair rollers, which could be a hint that the hiatus could be due to her expecting a child with Sam Asghari.

In true Spears fashion, she announced the news of her pregnancy on April 11 via Instagram. "So I got a pregnancy test . . . and uhhhhh well . . . I am having a baby," she shared in a post. This will be Spears's first child with Asghari and her third overall, as she shares her two sons, 16-year-old Sean and 15-year-old Jayden, with Kevin Federline.

Some could argue that Spears's social media break is more than warranted after the year she's had. Her 13-year conservatorship finally came to an end on Nov. 12, after she pleaded to have it terminated during a June 2021 court hearing. Now that it's all over, the expectant singer seems to be focused on moving forward with her fiancé and growing family.

Spears didn't say how long she planned to be away from social media, but her fans are glad to see she's taking some time away to enjoy her pregnancy.

Jimin and Ha Sung-woon Dropped an OST For Netflix's "Our Blues," and the Lyrics Are Bittersweet

BTS's Jimin has dropped a number of solo songs throughout the years, but on April 24, he unveiled his first-ever original soundtrack (OST). The star collaborated with former Wanna One member Ha Sung-woon to release "With You" as part of the soundtrack for the new Netflix K-drama "Our Blues." As fans know, Jimin and Sung-woon are good friends. They've hung out on a number of occasions and have supported each other throughout their careers, making their collab all the more special.

Days before the track's release, a representative from Yam Yam Entertainment (the company behind the "Our Blues" soundtrack) teased, "Jimin's soft vocal tone and Ha's attractive, engaging tone are weaved together in this song and their harmony made it even more beautiful." After finally hearing "With You" for themselves, fans couldn't agree more. If you can't get enough of the song, either, check out the meaning behind the lyrics below.

Jimin and Sung-woon's "With You" Lyrics

While most of the "With You" lyrics are sung in English, the second verse features Korean lyrics, translated here by @btsinthemoment.

Verse 1:
I wanna be with you
And I wanna stay with you
Just like the stars shining bright
You're glowing once more
Right here beside you, I'm still
Walking wherever you go
You will live forever in me
Breathing deeply, within me

Chorus:
Just take it all
I'm nothing without your love
I promise I'll never leave your love
My heart is beating 'cause of you
Forever and ever and ever
Only you can take my heart
Dear my love, love, love
I wanna stay with you

Verse 2:
Memories are always in this room that is called the heart
Full of stories with you
I, too, don't know when it all began but
I want to tell you all my stories

Chorus:
Just take it all
I'm nothing without your love
I promise I'll never leave your love
My heart is beating 'cause of you
Forever and ever and ever
Only you can take my heart
Dear my love, love, love
I wanna stay

Outro: Jimin
Tore my heart
Now I'm in the dark
Will we meet in our dreams
Breaking my heart
Here we are apart
I wanna stay near you

What Do Jimin and Sung-woon's "With You" Lyrics Mean?

"With You" tells a bittersweet love story. The lyrics are reminiscent of a relationship that didn't work out, though one party desperately wanted it to - and now, no matter how much time passes, they'll never forget that person or the way they made them feel. "My heart is beating 'cause of you / Forever and ever and ever / Only you can take my heart," the duo sings in the chorus.

The song's outro is especially emotional. "Tore my heart / Now I'm in the dark / Will we meet in our dreams," Jimin sings. "Breaking my heart / Here we are apart / I wanna stay near you."

The lyrics go perfectly with the storyline of "Our Blues." The series follows various characters living on Jeju Island, including truck merchant Lee Dong-seok (Lee Byung-hun), single mother Min Seon-ah (Shin Min-a), bank manager Choi Han-soo (Cha Seung-won), and fish store owner Jeong Eun-hee (Lee Jung-eun). Over the course of the episodes, we learn that Dong-seok and Seon-ah were once in a relationship, while Han-soo was Eun-hee's first love. Both couples eventually reconnect, which brings up old memories of the past.

To see how the love stories in "Our Blues" play out, be sure to watch new episodes of the show every Saturday and Sunday on Netflix.
